they were in my soil... i was infested for a while.. but i belive its tooken care of

Got some captain jacks deadbug brew concentrate with spinosad. Anyone ever use this shit?
had same thing.. used the monterey spray with spinosad and it did the job in a few days. havent seen them since. (knocking on wood)

I also threw some Diatomaceous earth on the soil and didnt water for a few days so they the little fuckers could kill themselves attempting to crawl out...

I blasted the flower room last night with captain jacks. I bleach cleaned the whole room including the pots and trays. Sprayed all the excess I had on the floor and walls as well. sprayed the tops of the soil as well. the veg room I will saturate with organibliss today and document for the side by side trial. The control will get captain jacks after I reviewed the protocol for the organibliss test that came with the sample to test it does say to use your normal pesticide and fertilizers on the control. I was going to do a pure control when I thought it was just some fungus gnats that would go away when the soil dried but its thrips and that's different so I'm going with the captain. I got enough of the captain on me that if it was dangerous I'd have cancer! also to help out I set the AC down to 62 and the dehum at 40%. cross your fingers I'm going in around 5pm today with the scope and low expectations but high hopes....

I've had thrips a couple times, any pesticide will kill them pretty easy but you need to catch the adults flying around to completely eradicate them. The adults seem to love the yellow sticky card traps, I like to cut the traps up into 1/4's and put one in the window sill of every window in my house as well as a half card at the base of every plant in my garden. You'll be surprised how far out of your garden the adults travel, that's why its important to put traps in all your window sills.

yeah, I was a little concerned today after the THOROUGH soaking I gave them that only like 80% that I saw ere dead...maybe 90% but I saw some moving and had to do more research. I might just give them a mighty wash today or tomorrow before I a blast them with the cap'n again wed. every other to every 3rd day should do it. I always have fly tape up and its filling up fast, need to get some cards for the windows (can't have a hanging nasty-ass fly tape in the house, gross) Thanks for all the tips. I'm beating them back pretty hard already.

DO NOT USE BLEACH TO CLEAN YOUR ROOMS.

bleach makes things hold moisture, more so wood than other surfaces but still. alcohol is what you want to use.. mildew and black mold usually follow after cleaning with bleach.. just be careful out there. lol

WORD! I don't have any wood surfaces and everything is wrapped in plastic but I'll try the alcohol clean on top of yesterdays' bleach cleaning cuz fuck it I'm doing anything and everything short of torching the place to get rid of these fuckers. they are so goddamn gross and I've spent so much time looking at them in the scope my eyeballs itch and skin crawls! little wormy looking bastards DIE DIE DIE! Thank cat

18 hours after the cap'n got sprayed and I'm definitely not having one of those magic reports of all the bugs leaving without a trace. I got lots of bodies and a more moving bugs than I really wanted to see. These took some work, cheap scope bad camera and moving bugs but this should either confirm or deny my infestation is thrips.

Pretty sure I've read that because of the make-up for mighty wash, you aren't 'sposed to use it along with anything else.
Mighty wash is reverse frequency water and anything else reverses the reverse, or some shit. lmao.
I know that captain jacks shit is a jug of dry powder cuz I got one and so that shouldn't matter.
I have no idea if I'm correct or not, just trying to through some thoughts into the mix.

Azamax is good shit too. It's pretty cheap on amazon and some hydro shops really bend you over on pesticides cuz they know
fuckers need em, when they are looking at em.
Good luck cory.

watched the funny pitch on cap'n jack's website. so I'm a little more at ease seeing a few bugs left in that it said they have to feed on the stuff or treated plant material. Still don't like to see so much movement though, it was a bad one. first one and a bad one. though I hadn't done inspection in probably 3 days so I know who to blame. All I can do now is treat with the cap'n since I started with the cap'n in the flower room and try this organibliss on the veg room test plants. that makes me super nervous cuz to really get them under control both products have to work. cap n highly recommended and organibliss as a test with great timing. I need some charcoal pills and a shot! LOL

Good luck man! AzaMax is the same way, not designed to kill on contact, it takes a little time and multiple applications depending on the reproduction rates of the particular critters. Thrips are pretty easy to kill as long as you follow the right steps, try not to get too stressed man...
