The company i manage is specially licenced to transport almost anything. and if we dont have a license, we get one. some companys will transport it. but you MUST do these following things.
1)follow my above instructions (prior notice, written permission)
2)you must purchase aditional insurance from a 3rd party provider. my company offers insurance, but not for fragile shit. your equipment must be insured. no way around it.
3) you must provide security during the move (you can simply be present and supervise) or you can hire someone. As long as a authorized party is supervising. we need the patient there tho (so its not illegal for us to handle) so i usually accept the patient as security. unless they are physically disabled, they can provide their own security.
4)yo must notify local police. failure to do so is a crime in my area, as well as potential loss of your shit and med card.
5)every piece of equipment and anything moving must be inspected by a manager or other authorized company reprisentitive. someone like me would have to come and have you display the working function and physical condition of everything. otherwise no coverage.
to insure live plants, you need a estimate from someone who apraises plants. otherwise no company will insure any plant.
i have outlined the procedure my company uses when moving med grows. it may be different in your area.
i have dont two such types of moves before. both were across country. they are more expensive than any move. client pays more for insurance, apraisals, us checking goods, and allot of extra bullshit.
if you are physically able, move em yourself. its not worth the extra hassle of contracting a transport or local moving company to do it. and if you do have someone move you, know that not everyone is decent. like any job we get assholes to. and you never know if someone will steat your shit, come back and rob you... just do it yerself.
