Just use support steaks 4 in each pot, and black trash bags over the plants, I did this a few years back at my girls apartments. The steaks hold the bag and prevent smashing the plant. Each can be moved separately and avoid light exposure.

Hope that helps, good luck

Sounds good except for the "few friends" part. Get everything ready to move; load at about 2am and do it all by yourself. Consider it exercise.

No shit eh! i wouldnt ever reveal plants to anyone, let alone ask them to commit a crime with me.

wrap em up. move em. Who cares if the light schedule gets wierd. move em while its their daytime, which is real world night. it will be like a cloudy day to them. they wont give a fuck.

dont move em in their nighttime, and expose to sunlight. that is a bad idea. that shit will cause a hermie.

and i work in transport in the world (never going back to the city if i dont have to tho, i like it out here. fuck the rest of the world. the countryside is my world now). dont hire a company. no one in their right mind would load that into a company truck. if i found out that ended up in one of my trucks, the guys who did it would be jobless, and probably going to jail. i couldnt let the company be liable for shit like that. and everyone knows it. most anyone in any transport industry will readily call the police if they are brought into a sit with illegal shit.

if you are a medgrower, some companys will make a exception if its legal. with prior notice and a written letter from the perscibing doc.

judging from the tone of the question tho, you probs have to move a illegal crop. do it like what potpimp told you. it makes sense. wrap em like gioua did. dont use plastic. it will choke em. that bamboo works.

Gioua you get rep alone for the stylishness of their moving outfits! Wow!
Whoa!!! I wasn't expecting THAT! Sorry, but even if I can't give it you do deserve it.

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.
OP you mentioned you and your girlfriend are taking a break right? Will you be safe with her knowing you grow? Also be careful about moving those high value items. You never know who might see and come back later so try to be very discrete.

i used big plastic garbage bags-55 gallon drum liners.I cut the bottom out and slide that one over and all the way down. Then I take a uncut bag ,slide it over and tape to the 1st one. Then into the uhaul

fwiw.. I really only moved a few houses up.. I stressed over this for about a month and used my stepsons to help lift the bastards into the truck lay em down softly unwrap it... then use the same bamboo curtain thing (more like a reed but.. hey... ) to wrap up the next one.. took me a good 4 trips thankfully we moved from one place with rv parking to another.. so... we could back the entire thing into the side w.o being too noticed..

I then would switch off and take a load of my other house/yard plants and yup even took a wagon from one house to the other..

in hindsight a uhaul would have been ideal.. but I am cheap!

The company i manage is specially licenced to transport almost anything. and if we dont have a license, we get one. some companys will transport it. but you MUST do these following things.

1)follow my above instructions (prior notice, written permission)
2)you must purchase aditional insurance from a 3rd party provider. my company offers insurance, but not for fragile shit. your equipment must be insured. no way around it.
3) you must provide security during the move (you can simply be present and supervise) or you can hire someone. As long as a authorized party is supervising. we need the patient there tho (so its not illegal for us to handle) so i usually accept the patient as security. unless they are physically disabled, they can provide their own security.
4)yo must notify local police. failure to do so is a crime in my area, as well as potential loss of your shit and med card.
5)every piece of equipment and anything moving must be inspected by a manager or other authorized company reprisentitive. someone like me would have to come and have you display the working function and physical condition of everything. otherwise no coverage.

to insure live plants, you need a estimate from someone who apraises plants. otherwise no company will insure any plant.

i have outlined the procedure my company uses when moving med grows. it may be different in your area.

i have dont two such types of moves before. both were across country. they are more expensive than any move. client pays more for insurance, apraisals, us checking goods, and allot of extra bullshit.

if you are physically able, move em yourself. its not worth the extra hassle of contracting a transport or local moving company to do it. and if you do have someone move you, know that not everyone is decent. like any job we get assholes to. and you never know if someone will steat your shit, come back and rob you... just do it yerself.

I can move em and will have 2 friends to help a look out and one to help move em...plan on doing it probably around midnight if they can go an hour or two in the dark during light hours...and gonna have someone follow in a car...and will strap the plants to the uhaul walls with ratchets so no one rides in the back

lol at ratchet them down....no way to secure them like that.Just slide 'em in and pack around them unless you're going 100's of miles

Plants in the wild can deal with cloudy days. They can not deal with sunny nights. So just black em out during their daylight. Oh and if perchance you stress them and they herm, who cares. Plenty of GREAT pot came with seeds AND stems back in the day so you are ahead of the game. OH and another herm positive is the seeds are female so you get a do over ;)
