When I use cloth pots I use a flood tray for runoff slightly slanted.
That's good food for thought there - nice one. I could have it set up so I could drain the large flood tray. Would mean I no longer had to move to the plants for watering. Very tempted by the idea now.

A vet/dry shop vac is all that is needed after watering to collect the accumulated runoff, or even a cheapo hand pump

All of the planted seeds are up! :-D Once again 100% germination from Sannie.

I'll wait for the first proper leaves and start a new thread.

Some updated pics of Big Bushy tonight in this thread as well. She's really starting to fatten and pack on the weight. Definitely a different sativa dominant pheno to Tall Hazey Lady, looks possibly a faster finisher. Some pink calxys on her, and her smell is incredible - ranging from grape to jasmine to pineapple to chemical solvent - really complex.

I love those ones with the great smells.
Makes me look forward to tending to them so I can smell the aroma.

I was so disappointed when I grew a crappy cut of Tahoe OG with no smell.
I flowered it all by itself, and it took 11 weeks.
Never putting all my eggs in one basket, so to speak anymore!

Here are the pics as promised. She is going to yield tons and tons. Hopefully will avoid any bud rot - I got a dehumidifier and am managing to keep humidity constant around 40% (peak of 48% low of 32%). Check out how big the buds are already - this is day 37 of 12/12. They are just covered in crystals too. Even the leaves are covered in them. With the smell too, she is just amazing. I was properly talking to her as I fed her, first time I've done that in a while.

She is looking great!
I have heard smooth jazz and classical music make plants happy.
I saw a utube vid that had plants making music via a synthesizer modded and connected.
Seems far fetched mabye, but I dont think impossible.

I got some pics of the Kolossus and Q-Bert (Little Bushy) tonight when I fed them. Will post them later. I'm seriously in love with the smell from Q-Bert, the strongest skunk/cheese smell I've had from any plant I've got yet. So pics later.

I wanted to post this message though for the person who posted about light wispy leaves on Kolossus plants. This one I've got here has just started demonstrating it. It's on leaves that are not getting enough light and have wasted energy trying to get to the light. She seems to give up on them. Doesn't suck out the nutes like on other strains I've grown, they just wither and droop then die. Thought I'd share that observation.

The pictures. Q-Bert (Little Bushy). Stinky skunky cheesy little yield monster. Day 50 of 12/12. About another 2 weeks for her. She's been taking heavy dose of nutrients - 30ml of BioBizz 'Grow' 30ml of BioBizz 'Bloom' and 10ml of 'AlgAMix'. Next watering I'll flush her with 30 litres, then give her half dose nutes. Next watering after that I will half the dose again.

I couldn't resist including the Q-Bert picture! :-)

Here's the Kolossus - day 31 of 12/12. She started producing resin heavily now, has a really nice sour smell; not fuelly, more like a sour skunk with slight herbal notes. Now her flowers have started forming you can see a real sativa influence to her - maybe from the power plant or the Shack. I've been giving her high dose nutes from the start as I feel confident with the strain having grown it several times now. 30ml 'Grow' 30ml 'Bloom' and 15ml 'Alg-A-Mix' in 10 litres of water, with 10ml of 'CalMag' every other feed. I've included a couple of shots of the base, which you can see is horizontal almost from the lst. I will put some support sticks in there later if she needs them, but at the moment she is almost gravity defying.

Thanks man! I know this strain needs tons of nutes to keep that colour. They pay you back big time though. If you can keep them vivid green up until week 5 they end up with stupidly big buds. :-)

Reminds me of my childhood and all the games I had.

The plants look great as always!

I see you give equal parts grow and bloom even at day 50.
Do you find this works better for you than minimal or no grow at the same point?
I have never used your brand of nutes so I dont know the rec dosing though.

They are made to both be used together all through the grow. I used to drop it out towards the end of my grows. About this stage in fact. Then I read the 'Grow' was based on Molasses, plus they yield so much better if they stay green. So now I'm gonna keep using it.

Yielding better is where its at.
I just worry about the extra N not fully flushing and impacting the taste.

My last crop yellowed at week 3-4 flower and yield was worst I ever had, so I see where that must be true though.
