i've been wondering if i should try it with a pandora's box mom. i've heard that the grafting can be done pretty easily if you pick the right node to split. perferably a FIM'd site with 3 nodes or less on each split end would be ideal....

Im going to give er another try too. Pretty soon, the blue dream babies are about a week out and im gettin excited. Im going to get some thin wire this time and wrap it around the graft and run it past to use as a support for my bag that surrounds it. I also aint takin the bag off this time until its growing, or atleast closer to growing than last time. It looked good last time so i took it off after 4 days. Big mistake lol, im thinking tenish days this time.

Nope, he gave up and left town, we keep on bangin away at it and one of these days someones going to pull this off on this thread. I almost all of us have tried but were all a bunch of hacks so far. Were learning from our mistakes hopefully

Aww, common AK, all it takes is one branch were not trying for a franken plant with six different varietals on her. Were just going for one succesfull graft, or two

Were just going for one succesfull graft, or two OK so going to start simple later today and graft the top of my VPD (V__ Pure Diesel) to a side shoot thats almost the same hight. Just to test out my grafting skills then later going to test some seed-started plants for males and graft female clones to the rootstock of any males. Later later will def try to keep some different strains on the same rootstock mother.
PS, if you know of a diesel strain thats V______ Pure Diesel id love to know cuz i wasnt listening when the guy told me the names of the clones and cant remember the first word he said but i know it starts with a V

u know what your right. i am 65 days into flower with my c99s right now so ill be starting up new ladies very soon, im going to try to do this, 1 or 2 graphs on a seperate mother plant. should be in about a week or 2 and ill start, im going to make my own thread as a continuation of this one and we will get to the bottom of this once and for allAww, common AK, all it takes is one branch

lol im not sure, cinderella is like my hometown original strain, i bought c99 grimm brothers (the original c99) before they got caught and sent to jail, so i had a friend who made f2s and sent me some so i actually havee the original c99, not female seeds or whatver everyone has now adays. i love c99 tho, firtst strain i ever grew
to this day i have friends who havent seen me in years and come up to me and ask me if i have any of that cinderella 99 that i used to have lol it literally legendary around here, but i dont sell it no more, i keep it allllll for myself

The only problem I see in this is ifu plan to try and keep the plant indefinitely, a mother can just be trimmed down, roots cut and more soil put in. With a plant with 6 grafted branches, u need to keep actual branches alive, so u can't just trim them down like a normal plant, especially with cloning, I see the plant not being manageable after 6 months.

Fuck the plant count, keep 6 small mothers in 3-4 inch pots, only means you'll have 5 extra small plants, you'll have more room, as 6 small plants will be smaller than 1 large, no worries of if fuck up one u lose em all. Fuck the plant limit, how often do the police count ur plants anyways, if ur at the point of the police raiding you anyways and counting ur plants, 6 little small plants I reckon is the least of ur concern.
its a good little experiment but with no practical application, apart from if u can only grow one plant for whatever reason (but still, the size the plant has to be, you could do the same with small plants)
