I forgot to mention you all were talking about charas earlier in the thread. I made some charas for the first time a few weeks back after my last harvest, and it was the most flavor full, blondest hash I've made yet. I had just watched that strain hunters a week or 2 before and decided I wanted to try it. So when I harvested and began trimming, I very carefully, and gently(to avoid green material) "stroked" my fingers over the buds, and rolled them in my hand a bit. I found that if I brushed off any green material and hairs from my hand in between each bud I worked, that I was able to keep the resin building up completely clean. I continued this for about 6 hours of trimming the first night, and had resin "callouses" on all my finger that were very thick. I worked it off my fingers and pressed it in my hand a bit and was left with an amazing smelling and tasting ball of charas. I think the first night I may have gotten a few grams, the following nights I worked faster and was not as concerned about it and got less. After it dried over night in the ball I had made it would crumble if I tried to break a piece off or squeeze it, I assumed this had something to do with the resin profile, but perhaps Frenchy can shed some light on that. I may not have pressed it long enough, but it sure smoked nice and was a fun experiment in charas making!
