Might be enlarged Aorta. That's what I have. I can feel it pressing on my throat and beating sometimes. It is caused by over pressurizing your circulatory system by coughing or yes, laughing, making the long Aorta tube inflate like a balloon. I think that is what happened to Farmer 420 when he had his seizure episode. He coughs so much when he hits a dab. Have you ever noticed how red people get when they can't stop coughing? They are forcing blood to the skin. Some people get what are called torturous veins from too much pressure.

No need to cough when you enjoy your meds. Just take a nice easy hit. And another, and another... :)

Haha yeah but come on it's not the same ;) I don't know if it was timewreck or chernobyl x space jill i popped in earlier (was from a tray of accidentally trimmed buds) but i coughed pretty hard and really had a timewreck... i experienced the cough after it was done.... simultaneous to the present... it was pretty trippy for a few seconds there. I'm looking forward to figuring out which one that was, because afterwards I was *BAKED*.
 
Here's another interesting question:

What ever happened to "Old Red Eye" ?

You remember, everybody use to carry a bottle of visine around with them.
Because their eyes would be totally blood shot, from smoking weed, and everybody could tell you were really stoned.

I haven't heard or seen anyone with visine in years, myself included. It use to be, you would also be "shit faced" looking.
Meaning more less you had a goofy look pastered on your face like being totally drunk you couldn't hide.

I don't see that anymore either...
 
my girl and I still carry it, but I get really bad red eyes. Also Colorado just passed the law were they can charge you with a dwi if they have reasonable doubt your high and find five nanograms or more thc in your system. Bull shit in my opinion, but that's why we have clear eyes and keep our cool.
 
Well, Marc Emery tried to tell me, that stuff like red eye was nothing more then a foggy memory, on my part.
Also that incredibly good pot, from days gone by, was just wishfull thinking as well.

You probably have heard people speak of Gold, (alcapulco, columbian, even mexican) and how good that type of pot was.
I remember long ago, smoking some red cono, and leaving a friends house. And the pot being so wildly explosive in nature. It started to make my leg vibrate like a jack hammer, and I couldn't stop it, nor could I drive home for several hours.

I remember hawaiian, that was as strong as any narcotic I ever had...

Is my memory, really, possibly, that far off????

IF it is, it's only with cannabis, because every other substance, even if I haven't been around it for years. It's easly recognizable to me. Like a beer for example, I don't drink I haven't had a beer in probably 15 years or more. But I would instantly recognize, what a beer was, and how it tasted etc.

Just like anyone probably would right?
 
I think you remember being young and having no tolerance my friend :) The young kids today feel just like you did. :) Also red eye is very individual too -- my best friend NEVER gets red eye (or at least we've never seen him get it)... i get it like a MOFO if i'm really smoking... not so much for just casual tokin'. I don't get it as much as I used to though. I think as growers, a lot of us are looking for that one strain that takes us back to those old days :)
 
I always consume edibles in the morning, cause I'm at work.....It kills me cause my coworkers always say you look sleepy I just play it off.....never get red eye, guess I'm lucky.....I always thought it was because of my high tolerance Idk
 
A lot of red eye is due to smoke, so medibles would seem like less likely for red eyes... glassy eyes yeah :)

i feel sorry for people that look REEEAAALLLY glassy eyed when they're stoned and also people who look REEEEALLLLY glassy eyed when they're not. You know who you are. Or maybe I am thinking of me. Hmmmmmmmm whatever I'm smokin' is giving me the munchies something fierce i just had dinner a couple of hours ago. lame.

oh shit it's nugs' chernobyl x space jill fucking good stuff i only smoked a tiny little bottom bud that's barely fresh dried. That stuff's going to be phenomenal when it's done curing.

After 695 days in jail and or clean due to probation, when I took one hit of Jacks Cleaner and one of Killer Queen(that I grew and sent to Jill which she saved for me) I was so high Jill sounded like Charlie Browns teacher, I couldn't move the room was phase shifting!!
It took me 6 months to stop passing out after 3 bong hits. Its our tolerance simple.
I eat a medible that would make my mom trip for a week every night :)

I agree. I've been smoking pretty considerably for the last 12 years. I had to quit for 60 days last year for some job training reasons. I smoked some spacedawg after i was completed and got so fucking high I had to lay down and talk to myself a bit. I agree that its all about tolerance. Smoke 15 hits a day for a month and I bet your eyes won't get as red

Well yes of course. if you don't smoke for a while, the euphoric effects are much greater when you do. But I wasn't talking about quitting, and then getting really high. And wondering why I was so high sometimes and not others etc.

Red eye, I use to see people that looked like their eyes were going to fall out of their head they was so red, like in a cartoon, and it happened to everyone.
Ever see those Rat Bastard shirts and logos with his eyes looking so red it's unrealistic? That's how people looked...
 
I feel that in 1986 for whatever reason, that cannabis all over the world changed to some degree.

Now, I know your going to say that sounds crazy, but does it really?

Whose to say these type of changes, to one degree or another, hadn't happened a number of times in the past to cannabis, and with our short life spans we simply aren't aware of it.

Maybe it's a cycle that goes back in forth every 30 or 50 years or whatever, who knows? But something happened I'm sure of it.
 
86 must've marked something for you bro... I didn't start smoking til the 90s (late bloomer ;) ) believe me my eyes were hella red :) something is happening -- we're getting older and so is your perception and memory in a world where everything changes every day and still stays the same. everybody's world is different 30 years later from what they remember :)
