Power is in fascism. Absolute power is in free market fascism.

the Native Americans?
Doesn't qualify. Uncle Sam is an idea and construct of the 19th century, and the Native Americans have been pushed back and generally treated poorly since the earliest 16th. I cannot think of another continent on which "Uncle Sam", presumably the USA, created and officiated over a genocide, which is what I imagine is meant by "holocaust".
Also, the Native Americans were not egalitarians. I mean, just consider the Maya. cn

In our society, some are more equal than others.
Like those favored by "equal opportunity" laws?
like gays and immigrants and minorities
or do you mean like people with an opinion that agrees with the main stream take on things, like gun control advocates?

Oh dear. That sounds like "just smile and walk away slowly". Do you disagree with what i wrote? cn
No cn i am just uneducated on the subject so I am taking your word for it. I'm here to learn. uh and engage in stupid bickering which I will never do again. That thing ended very badly and quite sad. No gracias.

Why should equality be enforced it the point of a gun with threats of violence?
Why should we not encourage compassion and charity in the hearts and minds and actions of our people?
Why should we count on enforcers to provide instead of ourselves and our neighbors?
Why should we not encourage hard work as a way to get ahead and allow lazyness to not lead to rewards such as those enjoyed by the productive?

I'm just going to say Manifest Destiny.
Manifest Destiny happened on North America, a continent demonstrably not filled with egalitarian societies. Also Uncle Sam is a term not known before 1816. Which 19th-Century or later continent meets your original claim? I can find none except perhaps Antarctica, and the holocaust there has been a) cetacean, and b) certainly not a US monopoly. cn
