Hell yeah , I love cheese myself but when I first tryed germinating seeds I killed off all my cheese and some others but they were freebies anyhow.

O. Ill be honest I dont like calenders for my mind keeps a good enough count, I just tried my sleeskunk last night and felt as if I was more indica stoned than sativa. I like both highs but that shit knocked me out. I just tried thc bomb friday and my friend wont do it again. He said its too damn hard hitting and last too long, it hit me good but lasted 2 hrs conpared to his 6 and I felt as I could think clear.

So what exactly is a zindica? I could search it but tbh I hate rollitups search. I just google shit lol

I'm not really too fond of Cheese myself, but decided to give it a run to see what the whole hype was about.
And god damn, 6 hours?! How much did he smoke?
I'm only doing the mainlining technique with the Zindica because it's a sativa dominate strain and to keep the canopy manageable with my indicas, I have to do some kind of training.
Zindica is a strain that is pretty hard to come across these days, and is one that I've been wanting to grow for a good while. One of my good friends had a couple of seeds and gave one to me.
The reason why I've always wanted to grow it is because it turns pink. Not purple, but pink.

Most Cheese strains in the club are 21%+ at the dispensaries here in the Bay Area. The only thing I dislike about Cheese strains has to be the taste...
It makes me want to hurl at times.

I love growing colorful strains as well, that's why most of the strains I'm running are purp/pink.
As for getting more color on the buds, it relies almost exclusively on the phenotype. Colder temperatures during lights off is what initially triggers and progresses the color changes, but if you don't have a pink/purple pheno, it won't change color. Maybe just a little bit, but not by much.
And if you want a black strain, try your luck with Black Domina. Some pheno's get these amazing navy blue/almost black tint on the leaves with dark purple hues on the buds.

Indeed, Black Jesus enjoys taking off on the Deathstar as well.

Don't feel bad man, I prefer Google as well.
A lot of times, I Google a keyword, and look for the "Rollitup" link........ Seems to work faster than using the 'search' feature here.

And as for magazines, I don't know how reliable they are, but high times has been around for a very long while in the cannabis industry. But keep in mind that they're also paid to advertise for many different companies.

Thank you man, I have flowers at different ages but the oldest are 11 weeks since flipping of 12/12 then I have brand new ones added whenever they hit 2 foot in vegging. My canopy is horrible right now, I wish I had the setup to grow my indicas to 3.5 foot in veg while my sativas would go to 1.5 foot. Just have to keep forking money out to get there but hopefully I can buy all of everything before years end. You have any updates on your stuff man?

So as far as flowering goes, do you count the first week of flowering when lil hairs start to show or as soon as they leave veg room. I overheard that indicas can go up to 14 weeks while sativas can go to 18. This is crazy to think about but I can see it being true due to my crop having a few plants that have a lil bit of amber, hell I bought the seeds as a newbie seeing the 8 week ready. I figured in 5 months id have good smoke but its been almost 7 months since I cracked the seeds.

If you're having trouble maintaining a level canopy, you should try doing a scrog next run or try your hand at LST/topping/super cropping/mainlining. A scrog makes it extremely easy to keep an even canopy, but it can be a bitch watering/tending to your plants since after the screen is set, you won't be able to move your plants. it can be a great aid when you're running numerous different strains or phenos.
As for the flowering question, I usually start counting days after i see the first pistils on my girls.

And she hasn't been flowering but just for 2 & half weeks herself! I do believe its where the Blueberry & Belladonna & the others are "Sativa dom", and the rest are Indica's! Remember we were waiting, expecting the D to be another boy, and I was going to save some pollen for ya?
It was 24 days from the flip before either of them showed any preflowers, but I attribute that to them being outside when I flipped, and the sun being 14 hours/ day, but I thought that would be better than flipping them in the closet under 12 hrs., and then putting them out in the 14 hr. and confusing them.
