but you didn't call tokeprep 'whiny', you called his quest for equal protection under the law 'whiny'.

you can tell me that you're not a bigot all you want after that, it doesn't change what you said and the sentiment behind it though.

i am not surprised, either. with rawn pawl supporters, it's almost always just a matter of time until this kind of thing exposes itself.
I did not call tokeprep's argument for gay rights whiny only pointed out me and him have gone back and forth and called each other shit in pursuit of our arguments. I had no idea, and still don't as to his sexual preference or even his race.....just like yours, I know you married but that is all.

You simply misunderstand my sentiment because you fail to read the () right in front of the statement you are misunderstanding, then quick to just call me a name rather than address the content of the post.

I recognize this as a distraction and something a kid in a playground would do when he has run out of substance to his argument.....something the left does a lot in my observation....I have an in to state this since YOU simply called me a bigot and attributed that to being an RP supporter.

I did not mention RP and ponder how many instances I could find of you saying his name here ant theorize it would be in the thousands.........literally.

I present to you a very good image of your secret hero:

Yeah, that will doesn't offer the same benefits that are afforded to spouses. In fact, it subjects you to the estate taxes and the inability to roll over your significant other's retirement account without harsh tax penalties. In short; it prevents them from enjoying the same benefits your wife would in the event of your passing.
Dead people do not file income tax. Gay dead people also do not file.

And the 20% that remains? What about them?
The indigent poor? Some of them are gay, so I suppose we ought to come up with some special privilege that other people can't get just because they are so goddamned fucking more special than everyone else.

Setup a trust, make your gay lover the only beneficiary. Have a tax lawyer set it up, you will pay nothing. Do what the rich do when they want to protect their money.

Have your gay lover committed to an institution, then check them out the nest day forever. Get SS benefits for them, have butt sex all day long and get a tax benefit to boot.

There are so many ways. Why do something like get married?

Beware that gays getting married will also mean gays getting divorced, and all the shit that come with that.

We all know its just for the money.

I meant the 20% that file jointly. None of them are gay; that would require being married in a way the federal government recognizes.

They wouldn't. Are you even paying attention to the conversation? Last I checked; this was about the fact that a gay couple does not receive the same rights, privileges, and benefits as a straight couple would. Due to the fact that their marriages are not recognized in many states or on a federal level.

Actually it was about the economy under Obama but I digress lol

So it's not really important that they have access to the same rights, benefits and privileges that everyone else enjoys?

Everyone else? You mean like Single people?

They have all the same rights, exactly the same ones I do. What they want is EXTRA rights that the rest of us don't get.
