Here's a quick phone pic of Cu from this morning. Sorry for the quality and lack of white balance.

Internet is being buggy but I'll have a bunch of pics later. I harvested about half of Bushy this morning, got about 225g wet. I think with the lowers getting another two weeks I'll beat 3oz off this plant!

Here's Bushy before getting cut.

What I left on her.

Here's the bud we've been following.

Everything I cut.

The bud we've been following cut.

I'll get some shots of everything trimmed in a little while. I'm almost done. Trimming without good scissors SUCKS! I'm taking a full dose of Motrin for my thumb!
Here's a pic of all of Cu that matters. I'll post a full plant shot of her later, her lowers are completely shaded, I should have pulled more off. It's pathetic under there. I'd rather just have a canopy of good flowers. Fuck popcorn.

Plants looking good duck. I'm in the process of starting a burmese kush and a sage n sour under my 400w hps. The kush is in dwc and the other soil. Cant wait to get these done, I've been out of bud for a while. Planning on making some cannabutter also.

Here's a shot of the Royal Dog from yesterday when I had her out of the box to get things set up for both plants to be bottom watered while we're away. Getting her in an out is a pain the ass, I pulled one of her colas a little hard and hurt it a bit. She still looks good and it's staying upright. I saw some brown pistils starting on her as well.

Looking good duck. Is the only thing you use is a 400w hps?

Yeah, it's a 2x2 area with a removable panel for a door so it's pretty damn bright in there.

Oh I bet, my area is 2x3x6. What kind of temps you got. Mine is steady at 79.5f with 45% humidity. Just starting my new grow, so nothing to report on my grow atm.

Generally a few degrees over ambient temp in the bedroom. Recently that's een mid 80s, we're moving an air conditioner in though.

Cool, I had an issue with heat before cause I was exhausting into the same room. I have now gotten a new inline fan @550 cfm and a 25 foot ducting to run it outside of the room. Amazing how much the heat went down, and the negative pressure in my tent is crazy.

I actually try to avoid negative pressure in the grow, the plants seem to prefer it. And I have no odor issues.

Buds are ready for jars. Here's the top of the bud we followed, then all of it together, then all of the rest. I've probably smoked 6g so far. So about 45g from the tops. I'm quite confident that I'll beat 3oz from the whole plant!

The way you cut them and defoiled them, is there a name for this method, i just jumped through your grow really quick right now, and am amazed how they turned out from being so small and put to flower so quick.. nice grow

It's just LST, I topped at least twice in veg. I tied her down when she went into flower and kept her low until she starts forming new tops. When we get home from vacation I'll look for pics of her when she was being trained and post them

You're doing this in an area the size of my clone box?!?!?! MAD RESPECT.
yeah, I'm really looking forward to increasing my size to just a small grow soon, I'm especially looking forward to some extra height. But it gets the job done and that's what counts. [/FONT]

One detail that got me was you dimming the light to half power. I honestly didn't know one could do that. I have VERY basic knowledge of electricity, ballasts etc, just enough to not burn my house down. I'd love to know how you managed to dim it, can one just install a rheostat on the HID lamp's cable? Do you start them up with full power and then pull it back after they're warmed up?
Being able to use a touch less power every now and then will really help me out come summertime over here, outside temps can hit 113 come February. The amount of A/C needed when even nights top 90 makes summer crops insanely expensive to grow.

It's a digital ballast so dimming is a built in feature.
I should look into them then... Been running the same magnetic ballasts for YEARS, absolutely nothing wrong with them so I never even looked at the digital ballasts, never had a reason to. Also never considered growing indoors in summer either, got badly ripped outdoors 3 years in a row now so I'm going indoor only :/

That is most useful to know, thanks :)
