hello fellow texans, i want to pull on the memory's of some of y'all. when i got home to houston in 82, there was some lite green smoke with red and gold hairs, that smelled like a christmas/pine tree. i know it was still around a little in 85 when the skunk started coming around. it got to where if you wanted the pine tree you had to look for it. does anybody remember what strain it was? i moved to bama mid 85, and have never see anything like it since. it was the regs of the time, everybody had it, it had big tiger striped seeds, and would get about 8 to 10 foot tall when grown.

the only kind I remember like that they called Christmas tree weed cuz of the smell and colors,tops were huge, best I seen commercially since, was getting Columbian gold and redbud to but the description is off a liitle for those.

yes it had some big buds to it, and was some great smoke too.

yea around '82 the zips were 120. zip of that weed and Columbian strains went for 70. to 90. and blue wahakan was the squag back then but better than todays squag or crap.

I remember it,We called it pine.was the first I had with no seeds.

Red n Gold Columbian I was getting it for 400lb,still to this day some of the best and most expansive weed ive smoked.
And it was full of seeds,boy i wish i had some,was only 17 then.

15 a lid for wahakan but mine was real light green.Its spelled with a J but i cant seem to spell it.

yep I agree with you..lol my first Columbian smoke and blotter experience was at a black Sabbath concert ozzie osbourne in 77,lol.

I went to Hawaii in 1980 and Hawaiian hashbud was 60. a quarter then moved to Sonora cali near Oakland and used to score opium dipped thai stick called "ZOMBIE WEED"in san fran in palo alto,250. zip,amazing stone,lol,,talk about getting hooked.

My Carrier was based in Alameda, so Everytime it went west we would fly up to meet it, Helicopter Squadron.I got to spend alot of time in Haight Ashbury stayed tripping balls.Love that fuckin Bay.

bro, i was paying $35.00 a zip for the christmas tree bud, but this stuff was everywhere and had seeds, i just wished i had saved some.
