That cuttining in the top pic is the worst looking one. I was trying to get a shot of the "wetness" of the RW there..

Ya i will keep ya posted for sure. Thats what im worried about if i DID take them out of the RW what if they DO have SOME roots started in there an i just rip them off... When I first posted this they were accidentally being sprayed for 15 mins 4 times a day and they were saoked. Now its 4 mins 4 times a day, and all i have is that pic to go by. If it is true that----- a happy cutting is an unrooted cutting. Then you might try adjusting your spray cycle to just keep the rw slightly moist (if it's too late to remove the rw). I've never used rw in production so I'm out of my element here.
If aero cloning doesn't work out for you-----then, if asked, I can give u a way that has always been very reliable for me (takes a little more effort). I also suggest skepticism about anyone claiming 100% success rate in a production setting----no matter the method used.

Because i can say that over the last few years and thousands of cuttings in my homemade aero cloners i have lost 2. And those were my fault from badly directed sprayers. And that is in a production setting with harvest every 3 weeks. I have wondered how crucial that is. I do have the humidifier cranked so its stays about 80-85%.. I know the dome gets you closer to like 95%You need a dome, if not get two liter bottles or something cut the tops off and set them over each lady. spray some water inside each and you'll get the humidity you're looking for.
i have had a lot of dead babies in the past, (more than caused by American troops in Vietnam) but all fucked up joking aside I never got real, constant success until I'd leave my dome on for first days with at least 85%RH..I have over 15 years of weed cultivation experience ( yea old geezer here) and I have always had to keep my rh very high----especially during the first few days.
I don't understand how u get away without one------would you mind helping me discover what the difference is or point me to a previous thread.

I have never used a dome. hydro cloners dont need it. over the last few years doing hydro only i have had over 60 different strains, not to mention the different phenos of different strains, and never had one that took longer than 12 days to root. Plain tap water( no need to ph) in the cloner, take a cutting and put it straight into collar and netpot, then into cloner. Timer set for 80sec on, 8min off. I think they are called jiffy pucks an u can buy them anywhere, walmart, lowes, etc. They are compressed pucks that expand when soaked and have a fine netting around them to retain shape. I start seeds in them for first week of so them pull netting off and place in bowl of water. Agitate water with the finger and the puck will disentegrate, then lift out seedling and place in collar and netpot.What are those? could you give me a link to see? Thnaks man!

CloNone taken, just pointing out that it can be, and is, done and by lots growers. I have made at least 6 different aero cloners from 6-73 sites and never used a dome. What kind of timer you using for that? My cloner sits on floor under my veg units and only gets residual light from veg or sometimes i turn on a 26w cfl over them. Cuttings need very little light to root. The humidity runs around 50% as my flower and veg rooms are connected using ducts and fans for temp control. Olddude has accused many times over the years of having magic water. Not sure on that. I dont use an air pump and i use city tap water. Biggest thing is K.I.S.S. No need for fancy angle cuts or skinning the stem, or gels or root compounds. I seriously dont even bother with them after i take them until im ready for them.
