Aero clone machine, clones not looking to hot :( any help? *pic*

Not sure on that. I dont use an air pump and i use city tap water. Biggest thing is K.I.S.S. No need for fancy angle cuts or skinning the stem, or gels or root compounds. I seriously dont even bother with them after i take them until im ready for them. I can take 20 cuttings and be done in a matter of minutes. it takes me longer just to make sure i have kept all strains going perpetual.thank goodness for colored collars.
Knights In Satan's Service, not only my favorite hair metal band, but also favorite approach to everything! I've heard of one gentlemen saying he would see results simply using fresh water and changing it daily.. Im going to see if i can find some hard data on rooting, and what actually happens during the process. See if we can find some nerdy ass science answers we love so much :dunce:

No. That thing compares itself to cap and others, not even close. It is a normal timer that was taken apart and modified. Ive seen it done but wouldnt trust my grow to it. Check out plantlightinghydroponics.com for recycle timers. Some people dont like CAP but i have had mine for years, the key is if you run multiple pumps to use the timer with a relay setup to take the heavy load ooff the timer.

Cooooool. Ok, i will be getting that for sure then. Thanks!

So i'll be setting up my veg cap ebb and flow (is cap ebb and flow what you call a like 5 gallon bucket ebb and flow system?) and i have a question. In my 55 gal res, should i have an airstone or two in it? Or like a water pump that pumps from the bottom to above water level and it just splash right back in, like for circulation?

In that setup I would run airstones.
Right on. Cool. thats what i was thinking too. Get a couple good ones.. or do you know of ONE that i could get for it? the only ones i have used so far or those light blue ones you get a like walmart for a couple bucks and they suck.. the float all over shit.. Any suggestions of something i can just clean and not have to replace so soon?

i struggled with cloning for years. I have tried tons of different ways but really have found that less is more (Or at least as good). Now i am small scale so I only need room for maybe 10 clones at most. Only thing i use is a 2 gallon paint bucket and lid, bubbler and air hose, the discs that that you have to hold the plant, and the lid you get with cakes at grocery (Humidity dome). I don't use an airstone. I just leave the bubbler to release big bubbles 24/7... Success rate has been 100 percent with this set up.232.jpg

It's Aliiiivvvvveeeeee. I don't do hydro other then rooting, but i transplant into soil once i have a decent amount of roots at least an inch or 2 long...
