How do you feel about the dark period? Was planning on doing something like 36 hours or so, but I'm open to suggestions since I've not read much about the dark period being a "real thing" if that makes sense

yeah those babies look ready, might even want to leave some of the lower buds to let grow another week or two, I notice some of those have some white hairs still. 36 hours is sufficient for the dark period. You can go 48 if you want but it won't make much of a difference. Either way its not going to hurt Nice job Miz

edit: unless of course im mistaken and my eyes deceive me and those white hairs I see are just heavy crystalization, which now im more prone to saying thats what im seeing

I dont care about dark periods, I do like to harvest when the soil is dry, just to shorten how long it takes to dry the buds.

Gotcha. I just watered her yesterday and they're sleeping ATM so I'll pull her out before lights come on, check out the bottom and decide what to do from there. There are still a few hairs, but I need to look closer at the bottom before deciding

Nice grow! With a lil love and RUI All is possible. I harvest in 2 sessions, I'll take all the top loaded buds first and then let the bottom bud have a little more time to finish. What are your plans for drying and curing?

drying will be in the same room as the tent, but in the closet. We have a dehumidifier we'll put in the closet too. Once they're ready, I'm gonna cure some with Bovida packs and some with the burping method and see what I prefer. Hopefully it's enough time to figure out what I like so we can do the same for the Blue Dream, as she's very close behind the AutoAK

I usually just plain water and then light dep for 2 days, then trim under green light. In my experience you can get a way better taste that way. Girls are looking beautiful. Well played. +Rep

thanks, sir! and wouldn't you know (i reached back like a pimp and i slapped a hoe), i used regular water last go around and decided to give it half-strength nutes two days ago. boooooooooooooooooooooooo LOL. oh well!

so the AutoAK has been drying since Saturday! this morning when i bent the stems they were ready to get jarred, so i measured the weight and all that jazz. here are some pictures

the reason the jars are so unbalanced is bc in another one of my (many...) moments of sheer genius, once we took all the stems off everything but the main cola, i decided turning the plant over (while still in the pot) and pulling it out of the pot that way was the best plan. well... weed is sticky so it has a little bit of coco on it, lol. most of it came off but i figured it's best to keep it quarantined. lol. i can be such a retard sometimes, i swear i was meant to be blonde
