Hi every one out there. I got a small grow going with some satori mandala and a few hash plants. Now I used to have a ph meter and my daughter broke it and I just got one of those double prong ones that SUCKS SO MUCH. And now I use a ph drop kit. So the question is how do I test water, soil run off, and nute water mixes ph if the waters collord. Not to sound like a dick but please do not respond saying get a meter cause I just cant afford it.Please respond and thank you.

The way I did it with the drops and soil is just dig out a tiny bit of soil and put it in there with distilled water, and put the drops in. It'll usually get to the point where you can make the distinction. Eg, if its yellow, oj, red, green, etc. I'm pretty sure it's not all that accurate, but it's better than nothing imo... When I grew, I used the FFtrio, and I think two of them are green, but if you only mix in the required amount, waters still clear. Idk about any other nutes, if it discolors the water.

How dirty is your runoff?

Is that you and your daughter in that picture? I think MD just passed a mj law, but do you have a green card for growing? If not, (just a suggestion) might not wanna put your families picture and location on cannabis forums... Just my 0.02

Use a small, very clean jar with a cap. Preferably a tall, rather than wide jar.
Soil: Add a tablespoon or two of the soil, add water to above soil.
How much do you need for the test? That is how much you should have above the soil line.
Shake vigorously. Place sample on table (wherever), and let sit for 1 hour.
After an hour the solids should have settled to the bottom.
Don't stir or shake.
Pour the supernatant (water) into your tube for testing.
Keep the sample at a constant temperature.
Dispose of solids outside.

This is as close as I can come to a decent testing method without getting more complicated.
Doing a color comparison test on tinted fluids will still be inaccurate. But since you are only guestimating here anyway......

Runoff and Nutesmay be tested as-is, or using the above procedure if there is heavy solids material.
As long as the runoff is not oily, it should work. Just let any solids settle out.

Absolutely agreed. Just read a story last night about a child that was killed in a foster home after DFACS kidnapped her from her "pot head" parents. ...and now she's dead.

yes while we are always traceable it makes sense to at the very least make em spend some time and money finding us! they will gladly take yours!

that guys filled his profile like its facebook, watch when he grows a serious crop....rippers will find you there worse then police dogs!

on another note, while im all for being able to grow my herb legally and all that jazz it still feels raw for some reason to be toking on my big doobie and looking at a baby spesh when its in what looks like a hospital bed (profile pick)

and if he comes back to argue (i felt so strongly i left a visitor message) ill think even less of him then i already do!!

The feds still think it's illegal to grow and smoke under license. They haven't heard of the half dozen or so amendments and court decisions that make it lawful.

Pics on here need to be careful with. The servers are on US terriotory so all files on this site can be supenaed. Same with ips. There have been about 10 members from this site popped for posts online. You should always be using multiple proxies before coming here never directly type in the web address as you basically leave all your info right there and a map to your door.Pics should not be uploaded to the site directly as Roll will not remove them even if its a security request he will ban you first and let your stuff stay on the site as hits over members is the model here. Use 3rd party sites to host from under all false info. Never post pics of pets or family or a kid especially as you become a target.
