just shut the fuck up situation. if youre not here to help see your way out. youre one of those assholes on here who brings nothing to the table when someone needs help.

I did help i showed the guy how he already knows how to find a gcf because hes been doing it his whole life anyway. If your gonna curse, go wash your mouth out with soap please.

bahahahaha he explains by copying and pasting.
lmao yea perf i dunno wtf she was talkin about only transformations i know about are LaPlace that was some astrophysics math that only physicists know about.
It's still right even though i copied and pasted it.

Here try this is called the Euclidean algorithm and is the fastest and easiest way to get a gcf

Say you have 144 and 96

Divide the big number by the smaller number (144/96) and you get 1 with 48 left over

Now you have 96 and 48 left, so again divide the big one by the small one ( 96/48 ) which is equal to 2 with nothing left over. Therefore, 48 is your gcf

Now try 315 and 49

315/49 = 6 with 21 left over

now u have 49 and 21 so divide 49/21 = 2 with 7 left over

now you have 21 and 7 so divide 21/7 = 3 with 0 left over

Therefore your gfc is 7

You can do this with any combination of real numbers.

Sure, here u go. Hope this helps!
Then why didn't you help him versus insult him? Essentially I hate stupid questions and users too. But this guy has actually seemed to try and has not been asking us to do his homework as I'm sure you've seen. So why not help him?

I did i just taught him more than his teacher is gonna teach him all week in 1 min in the post above.

Now can you demonstrate how that works finding the GCF of any 5 numbers? LOL

Its the same thing you just have to do it more than once

EDIT :

12 15 33 39 24

Highest 39 lowest 12

39/12 = 3 R 3

12/3 =4 so u get 3

next highest is 33/3 = 11 R 0 so u get 3 again

next highest is 24/3 = 8 R 0 so you get 3 again

next highest is 15/3 = 5 R 0 so you you get 3 again

Therefore GCF: {12,15,24,33,39} = 3

LOL don't much care for the fact the girl was right do you? Too damn funny.....

(now THAT was a snooty, as well as arrogant, post enjoy)

Right about what? A finding a GCF and dividing the prime factors out is factoring lol, you just gave it a name, i just showed all the steps so he could understand.
