Im not plugging anything into anything.Im not changing anything. The cables hooked to the battery should make a electromaget, then wraped around the meter would slow it down. This is just a question , might be stupid, but wtf. Ive walked this earth for over 50 years and one thing I know is youll (I) never learn if you( I ) dont ask. Also car batterys are 12v not 9

I know of someone doing something sorta like this, but did not ask any specifics, the idea should NOT be done. just pay for the electricity that you use. I told the people that are doing it the same thing, I give them 6 months before they're fucked (they just started, just got their first harvest, from clones that were already to throw into flower).

Gramps was an electrician, Pappy too . . . me and one brother, same. That said, I don't see an electro-magnetic field affecting the meter at all. Could be 100% wrong, but it seems Pappy would've done this if it worked . . . cuz' we didn't have any money back then and he'd always turn it back on when they'd turn it off, using slugs, I believe.

Personally I think the fastest way to get a visit from the electric company is to fuck with their bread-n-butter.... I mean meter.
I'd advise you to just pay for the electricity you use.... and if you want to offset the cost then change every incandescent bulb in your home to CFL, run your dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer less. Adjust your a/c thermostat to a higher temp and unplug the spare fridge in the garage.

Yes, this I know, but I could not fathom the difference, based on what you seemed to be asking, between working with 9 volts or 12.
Either way, they're going to know something's up, don't ya think? Maybe it would be better to find a way to pull yourself off the grid somewhat, it's what we plan to do. Stirling motors is what we're going to give a go.

be careful if oyu pluggina battery into the main power.
my friend was workign on a 1930's somethign ort otehr car -- (not good with names) and put a match clsoe to hte batery to see if it needed distilled water or whatever--
not knowing the gas inside was hydrogen ...
next thing we know we here a big bang and he starts yellign he was blind --- (it was a black tar shit all over his eyes)... we were woried -- and now it is the funniest -- or one of stories we ahve....
he was completely sober when he did this..

its easy to take power go to a ghetto apt with the meter room open and take a meter problem solved just swap meters before they get read and you good just see what works 4 you i go 2 weeks max on bootleg meter ....or if youre a ussy just put magnets on the thing it will slow down a lil

Here in america, If you have a mechanical meter (not digital) You can take it out and put it in upside down. Older ones it will run the meter backwards. Newer ones it will just make them stop, while getting the energy. I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT DOING THIS!!! They will report you to the police, Turn off your power and take away the meter and put a padlock on the meter loop. Then they will charge you anywhere from 600-2000 dollars for "theft of services". Next they will tack another 300-500 on your power bill that you HAVE to pay in order to get em to turn it back on.
That being said...Dont steal power, its stupid. Even if you are mass producing buds, whats wrong with paying your power to keep you rolling? IT TAKES MONEY TO MAKE MONEY!
Next if you put a car battery by your metter loop, hook one end to positive, then wrap cables around meter loop and connet to the negative..........Your gonna arch out your batter cables and possibly blow up your battery in yourface. Think about it, if you hook a wire from one end to the other without something to use the energy of the battery, It arcs out! Go cheap somewhere else...Dont skimp out on your power. Hope I shed some light on this subject.
