WOW!! Just wow. The frost on that GG is killing my QQ I had (RIP to that pheno). I hope they use it too. It has a very clean structure to her. Did you use any techniques on her?

thanks man Ill do that, I noticed they were lengthy, but as of now theyre still young and ill be transplated so i thought maybe light was too far or maybe even one or two could be males but this makes sense. thanks! btw did you by chance notice an extra tough shell on the charity when you germinated them? another RIU member as well as myself noticed this, and i think I read someone on GGG forums with that too. Great seeds just an extra tough shell, needless to say they came through with some TLC

@smooth..that is just how she grows a real workd indica ill find some '10 pics...she is a strong fruity smoke and is a fast finish to her(54-56)days@corey...for me I got 100% germ. when I start seeds,i put them right in the mix,and I think that the lil microbes in the soil mix eat that outer layer on the shell, which helps in the hard shell case...but to answer you,i did not have any hard shells...

She looks nice that's for sure. You know me man I'm much heavier in the strong fruit smokes. Do you think the fairy has any of those? I just went to check out GGG, am I behind or is their site not working anymore?

The young ones didn't seem to have any issue after being transplanted yesterday. Hopefully, they will continue to enjoy their new home. I have this strange feeling this may be my best run for quality and who knows maybe even yield. I love checking in on them throughout the day and just watching them. Damn I need to find a way to quit my day job. hahah. but seriously.

They are growing well. Growing green mostly. I think a couple of them are getting acclimated. Look like some mild burning. If there's such a thing. lol. Watering is so much more enjoyable. Anyhow, how about some pictures for documentation purposes...

Yea she's (positive hoping) looking nice. Kinda different structure to her now but she's looking well. The banana puff is a little slower but she'll take off soon enough. The smelly cherry is struggling with the soil a little. Hopefully it's just some mild burn. We'll see when the next (hope) leaf set pops up. It's a tinge yellow but looking in on her earlier this morning she looked a little more burned than yesterday. I'll just keep an eye on her.

You can tell the type of ratios I'm hoping for. :-)

Hey everything is looking alright bro. Im trying to get caught up on my subbed threads after a lil vacation :-) About the soil/coco your cooking, first sounds like there was too much water,, microbes need low amounts to live and work. I would say no dripping at all after squeezing is good. Also when cooking I dont bother with a lid but for storage I do, unless Im cooking it outside and its about to rain or its a tad too moist.. Getting everything thoroughly mix with proper moisture levels is important then it should only need the initial mix and one more halfway through cooking to be ready for use. That smell is/was the medium going anaerobic, best thing to do is spread it out on a tarp or something until its reaches ideal moisture then toss back in the can for more cooking.

Oh I also noticed it looks like it could use some perlite as well. Nice and dark though! And Im with you on mixing soil making one feel good,,, its therapeutic.

I went back through your thailand pictures :-) so amazing bro thanks for sharing.

Yea Thailand was full of some amazing times with some great old friends.

On the soil front, I took some advice from G on letting it sit with the lid off. Now the moisture level is moist when squeezing but not enough for water to drip. And it's back to the nice earthy smell. I also strap the lid on and rolling the cans around a little every couple of days. Last night being one of them. Then I take the lid off and let it air out a little. After all it's supposed to be aerobic. ;-) I can add some perlite but its gonna be a couple days before I can do that. Going to visit my fam for the first time in a few months. May help my cousin with his vegetable garden.

Hope all it well my green thumbed friends.

Sounds good, hope ya have a good one with the fam :-)
One other thing I would like to add,,, it also best to let it sit undisturbed for a few weeks (at least) so fungi have a chance to colonize and do their thing. Fungi is a just as much of a part of a living soil as microbes.

I think I can handle that. Do nothing. lol. That should pan out perfectly because they will need to be up potted in a couple weeks. Well the little ones anyways. I appreciate the advice as usual my friend.

The weekend was good with the family. It's a constant go to see the people I wanna hang out with too while I'm there. There's just some reasons I'm truly grateful I'm not there anymore. Refocusing on the positive, my family seemed to be doing well. Moms is doing well. Seems to be back to normal. My dad is just biding his time until he retires. And my brother seems to be in great spirits. Sometimes I wonder though, how much of it is truly happiness. Is that odd? I need to change gears again, the plants did great for the most part. Still green. I did have one QQ die on me. I think it's roots might not have been as deep as the others. Learning small lessons the hard way. lol. Everyone else looks really happy. Even the Smelly Cherry that was struggling. Take a loooooookkkkkk......

That's not odd at all. At least not to me. In my head it means you care. I think about my families happiness a lot. They are for the most part content, but I don't feel as though they are living. They talk about reasons not to do things, and how they aren't talking to so and so anymore. Or how they wished they could do so and so. Never any plans for the future or hopes. Just mild complaining. It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong that they can't see the light of living a life they are inspired by. I try to lead by example and offer suggestions.

Thanks jig. For the most part my fam is pretty good about living life with the exception of my bro. He's just always low on funds it seems. But his trade off is he truly loves what he does for work (animal shelter). So kudos to him for finding the daily balance but what of greater things in this world you know?

So what do you guys think of the little ones? Seems like the banana puff is a slow grower but that may pan out to be a good thing as i may try something cray in the flower tent when its time. And the larger banana puff is clawing. Its the only one thats doing it though. I thought clawing was supposed to be a indication that it has excess N? And the smelly cherry is putting out some twisted foliage. It may straighten around after it starts to grow more. Just minor things I notice as I sit front of them looking over them.

The yins look good :-) can tell the mix is just a tad hot but thats perfect, in a week or so they are really going to take off! So what all did you put in the coco soil?

thank you sir. I really hope that's the case. The yins in the solo cups are going through water pretty quick. I was just going to slap them in their final pots in about another week.

The soil mix is the one genuity gave me. Which included: blood meal, bone meal, kelp meal, Epsom salt, lime, trace elements (greensand is what I used), coco, ewc, and I feel like I'm forgetting something. I think that's it. I gonna add some perlite into the mix before I up pot.

Oh and the clawing on the banana puff may also be because I've been spraying neem oil mix on them (too much) and the heat from the T5 may be adding to the clawing.

Other than that though, I'm really loving how the girlies are looking. Another week or so and they should be about ready for a compost tea brewing. The larger ones could probably use it now. Think there's any harm in waiting?
