I am not planning on putting a solid roof on this structure. It is more of a critter resistant cage. The north garden will be the enclosed garden complete with lights and CO2 :)

South is for food and north is for medicine :)
you should make the south for pot just for a crippled guy like myself. it would be grand. :) lol.

I must eat as well as medicate :)

This year I finally got some blueberries for my family because of the cages. I can't wait to get to eat all of my bounty!

:hump::oHOLY SH--MOKE, Mo!:o:o:o Just read the past few pages of this thread of yours and WOW...somebody hit it right with 'garden center' for sure! How awesome your place is, with the green houses going up and all the veggies and fruit. I am seriously jellous of your greenhouse projects and have been considering that myself, even have half the materials, lol. I do have the chickens for you---albeit I am not aware of any roosters that don't crow(worth a google?) and you'd figure there'd be someone out there de-crowing them. You must be in the city, and that is cool they allow any at all; seeing more and more of that lately. My old neighborhood North of Seattle became a 'city' and they grandfathered in the farm animals that were already there. Now it's all limited though, but I believe they can have roosters. I am currently looking for a good goat to run with my dogs, but need that for keeping all of our vegetation/stickers, etc,. trimmed back. This laptop I am on doesn't tab/return/enter on this site and a few others for some reason, so please excuse the 'never ending paragraph.' It sounds as though that was quite the experience in your attic...again. Stay the hell out of there, I am betting you will! Just wanted to swing in and see what you got going on....and it's overwhelming to say the least, surely a few nights of reading worth. And mad props to you and all you do and are doing!! +1 for sure Keep on keeping on, peace, gman:bigjoint:

Welcome!
I go out and check out the new posts every once in a while to try and see what is going on out there. I always find something cool and new.

I got the cross members along the back of the greenhouse cut and attached. It stiffened the structure more. I took a bad step walking on the wall (the row ended and drops down one block) and now my back is tightening up. Time for some night-night oil :)

Cheers,
Mo

Got the answer Don. You actually have an official moniker earned by all of your posts. Some people have a custom moniker that apparently can be given by a moderator.

Back feels better today DST - thanks.

Need to take some pictures while the sun is out. The Ace of Spades is getting sexy :)

We had moths in the pantry bad! Caterpillars and everything. Was a big bag of peanuts that started the fiasco. Tossed half of the stuff in there and spent four hours emptying, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and putting stuff back.

While I was waiting for another batch of stuff to re-shelve I put my back up against the door jam. Oh my God was my back out of shape. Took me ten minutes of pressing to get it all straightened out. Don't waste money on a chiropractor - door jams do wonders :)

Fukn moths!
