Mine has over 60 tops at the moment. I use full strength nutes the whole grow.My BD topped her once and pruned her some now she has about 8 tops and shes stretched a bit that I think when I start giving her full nutes next week ill have to flower her the week after because shes getting tall and stretchy
OK. so start at a 45 degree angle(tie it off.) slowly drop it daily. You won't get a full 90 out of her. but you can reduce the overall height by around 5-6 inches in a week..... judging only by pictures. Both stems are really fucking hard. When I push it with my finger, the whole plant moves with it.
Both about 9-11"

Going to give it a go. Hopefully I don't snap her in the processOK. so start at a 45 degree angle(tie it off.) slowly drop it daily. You won't get a full 90 out of her. but you can reduce the overall height by around 5-6 inches in a week..... judging only by pictures.
More LST than SC really. because of the unavailable crimping.
(try to)Roll the stem in your fingers a bit. it'll help her weaken just enough to get a good starting angle on the stalk.
But not enough to split it open.
Got that already brothaLooks great bro. All those side branches will come out one side while the main stalk turns up on the other. Gonna get way better light that way...
Direction all the "Blank spaces" of the plant towards the light. otherwise some of your side branches will grow up under the main stem and get no light.
I learned that on my own a few weeks ago. Now i have even growth instead of blank spaces. I had to move the branches by hand... but i'm sure the light being directly on them will cause them to grow out that side.
Good luck. Gimmie an update in a couple weeks. Let me know how they are doing.
Haven't had an issue with stalks. i've basically caught every plant before the stalks swelled... But i'll be sure to keep that in mind for future grows. thanks
His stalks were too thick to crimp or LST. he couldn't bend then regularly without uprooting the whole plants. He got it though. He posted a pic already of what it looked like afterwards.for what it's worth, I do things a bit differently here. When I have a girl into veg with 8-10 nodes (12" high), I install (as many may have noticed in my grows) 30" stakes (18 gauge) into the dirt container. I put one going straight up the main trunk. Then I install 5 more stakes in a star pattern about 8" out from the center. As the colas start to form I connect them to a stake with bread ties to control future direction, as well as stablelize them when they get heavy. When a cola is blocking light from another cola beneath it, I simply put a slight bend in the wire (connected to the cola). Just another idea to consider. Peace
oops. Seeing doubles and triples through yawny teary eyes LMAOThat's only one Thai... lol
