I could've gone to Canada or various countries around Europe. I've lived in Thailand (which required a visa) but have now lived in Spain for the best part of a decade. EU citizenship can be very handy.

Try narrowing it down to the countries you'd be allowed to stay in. There's plenty of TEFL courses around the World.

The OP needs somewhere he or she can make a living for 40 years or so, Latin American countries are where you go to retire.

Why not come to Australia, you know new Zealand is Australia's poor cousin kinda like what Canada is to America.
Education in this country is cheapish compared to America, although college education isn't the be all and end all like it is in Australia. You can get a good job here without some fancy smancy education.

Do you know where Australia is? Most people I met when in America didn't even know Australia was a country most Americans are so far up their asses they think America is the only country in the world.
