Note To Self: Embarking on a mission to not smoke reefer for a few weeks is incredibly hard to manage without reefer. It's just one of those traumatic things a joint could smooth over so nicely. Next time I stop smoking weed, I'll make sure I have enough weed to smoke to be able to deal with not smoking weed. Seems the only logical solution.

My poor wife. She's got a total looney on her hands right now. WTF do I do with all this energy?! MEEP.

I always make sure i have plenty of weed when i quit smoking weed. Happens often.

Or maybe i'm just talking about finishing off a bowl... ;)

EDIT: So baked I totally forgot the original reason for my post. How the hell are you surviving without pot, MH?! I would be wearing holes in the fucking carpet. I don't think I've gone a day without smoking at LEAST a bongrip for the last 4 years. That's like....1461 days. That's a lot of breakfast burritos.

Well its not easy bro, but I smoke for my head, been diagnosed with aspergers and bi polar disorder and gods alone know how many things in between so at least I'm in no physical discomfort. Its just time to see where I stand without a crutch. Had me one or two freak outs but I am managing to keep shit under control most of the time so there is a massive 'reward' at the end of it if I make it through, which will be knowing I have mastered my own mind. Verrrry important thing to do, that. Last time I stopped I was NOT ready, this time its a bit crazy but I'm on top of it. Zero meds! No trancs, no hypnotics, no bullshit in my system. And not even reefer. I'm liberating my plants for spiritual purposes instead of leaning on ganja as a crutch. Then cannabis will ENHANCE my life instead of just making it 'normal'... This is gonna be worth it in the end bro!

and NP at all Beech I'm glad it worked well for ya! You know how much I've been enjoying the alcohol extracts! A friend of mine traded me a .5g of some LA Con( or supposed to be) BHO the other day, and it looked decent. The flame test was clean, but either the herb it came from had a petroleum (oil) taste/smell, or maybe it was crap butane or something but it had a very off after taste. There was a nice piney flavor present too, which reminded me of some dabs I had in Denver but the after taste is weird. Thankfully it was just a small amount, and I didn't pay for it.

I just got my Butane in today, and I've got the Honey bee extractor. I have no vac purge(yet, literally going to buy one in a few minutes...)....

I have never done this before and have no clue what I am doing. lol :)

I seen the video's and all that. but Someone on here seems more reliable than someone i have never heard of with a single video up on youtube. lol......

If you're too busy it's all good. I can do some research. :)

Flame test is basically passing the extract through a flame to see if it crackles, pops, or flares up at all. This will tell you if there is any moisture or solvent left in it for the most part.

Stew I'll hit you up, I've never done a butane extraction. The youtube videos and some reading on here is how I learned to do my alcohol extractions, and then just started tweaking, and trying to make improvments. There are several threads here about BHO, I don't see the point of butane to be completely honest( please no body needs to jump down my throat for this). Working with an expensive, usually impure, explosive gas seems unnessecary when I get the results I do from cheap ass 91% iso alcohol. I've used 99%(but can't find it anywhere anymore), and I've used 95% grain alcohol. If the grain alcohol was cheaper I'd use it all the time, but the ISO wins out. I can get a gallon of 91% Iso for about $10 were a gallon of grain alcohol would run much higher. I would say I use about a half a quart of alcohol for every half oz of material. Anyway I'll quit rambling and just pm you.....

Flame test result no snap,crackle, jsut melts,and you were rt it did turn to like black but no green.
Was a very golden color in freezor,1st wash on the 2nd now and it turned all white also.
TY,Thats alot better then messing with Butane!!

YEah bro... might want to see if you can return it. lol. I got an extractor and vacuum pump. It's kinda fun to make, but not worth it. To me at least. When done right BHO is the shit, but I'm sure if done right solventless stuff is the shit too. I tried the butane for fun, but from now on I'll either do ISO, regular water, or dry ice. :)

I'm not one to trip on the law, but when you use solvents you start getting into a whole new legal territory. Manufacturing.
