Why haven't African Americans assimilated into American culture...?

The reason is:

We kidnapped them from their homelands, then enslaved them, then decided to free them without the proper education/job skills to give them a chance for economic freedom.

And then, we created social welfare programs to keep them dependent.

Which destroyed their culture.

No truer words have been spoken in this thread.

But what do we do now? Wait for them to take advantage of their contemporary equal opportunity? Do nothing and allow them to remain dependent upon government handouts and remain angry at white people? Or just pay them (as many of them want)?

Or just build them casinos like we did for the crybaby American Indians?

I wish I could get my hands around the necks of the idiots who captured them and brought them (blacks) to our country in the first place. Racist statement? Not hardly. Hell, blacks themselves condemn the capture and sale of their ancestors. So the hell do I.

Speak for yourself many of my ancestors died fighting to free slaves that other Africans
often sold to Americans. Many of my relatives then went on to institute programs that would allow them
to attend Harvard even though they were not nearly as competent as the competition.
But I suppose we will have to listen to excuses for a long time to come. Its unfortunate we don't
hear more gratitude from the blacks after all so many good Americans died trying to help them.
Farther more to even suggest that we haven't given them a chance for economic freedom
is purely asinine.

the reason for the failure of black culture to assimilate is their own resistance to assimilation.

this is why they apply the following terms to anyone who steps outside the black social dogma:

House Nigger
Oreo
Uncle Tom
Stepin Fetchit
Sellout
Race Traitor

and many more.

yeah, i'm sure centuries worth of enslavement, institutional discrimination, unequal access to opportunity, lynchings, jim crow, and the like are just "an excuse" (according to the insufferably racist kkkynes, at least).

i get a fair number of labels thrown at me for speaking out against racism:

race traitor
nigger lover
mudscuttle
multicultural wasteland of bullshit

i ignore these labels that obvious racists like you tend to lob at me.

I have no idea how one can be traitorous to a race, so that doesn't fit anybody. You certainly have no love for the brothas, as demonstrated by your constant condescension toward them, so that one doesn't fit you. But, the last two fit pretty well, Buck.

All Buck wants is some trash to talk while he gets sleepy...you see, he sleeps 16 hours per day because he has no job and is lamenting his STUPID decision to drop out of college just a few credits short of GRADUATING...

That DUMB decision has cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of his pathetic life...

The bad thing about it is that he was smart enough to graduate college...but just stupid enough not to realize it...

His good wife is paying the price...she is working to support his sorry ass...but only for a short while...she will wise up soon and throw his ass out...
