I have recently realized that the government in power in the US will be permanent. If the people tried to rebel the army could crush us so easily and even if we got foreign support like the revolutionary war it wouldnt matter. Especially now that more legislation is being created to limit fre power anericans can have.

I do not believe this to be true brother. There is a limit to what a politician can ask of a military, especially when they are complete outsiders (i.e. NOT a warrior themselves). Soldiers/warriors in this country come from families within this country and are clearly proud of it. To even suggest they turn against their flesh & blood would hopefully end quickly with a just hanging
That said, I have experienced the human tragedy of civil wars up close and personal across this world. I was always amazed at how the People show up for operation day shift regardless of the reality facing them. I also would hope the people came together but im pretty sure during the revolutionary war and civil war families were divided on the issue. I wonder if it could happen today with the media having the power the brainwash like itdoes

Government is the root of the problem, we need to end it. If it were the answer, I think we'd be saved by now.
Weak people are attracted to seats of power, and they are very willing to abuse it.
Not to mention the massive amount of brainwash/propaganda...it also helps that the tyrannical government pays really well.
The only thing I can think of, without resorting to violence, is if everybody could move past their differences and act as one voice..most people however refuse to believe the government is doing any harm, or at least they can't imagine a world in which they aren't being ruled. Most people think they need gov't.......

There has been a curious breed of politician occupying DC this past decade. Privileged Harvard lawyers with absolutely no real life experience succeeding simply on their ability to blame others and deflect responsibility. To watch such an unaccomplished freshman Senator as Barack Obama take up residence as a sophomoric leader of the free world is as unconscionable as the damage is tangible. Heads up on the unaccomplished freshman Senator Ted Cruz, as he is the exact same animal and if for some inexplicable reason is allowed to follow the same path: Game Over IMO

the fact that they are nullified from their own laws they pass, obamacare and still getting paid during a shutdown have my nuts fucking twisted and i want to have a nice conversation with someone for 5 minutes and bring them back down to earth.

lol people turn into Che as soon as they sit at their computer. IF and when the power goes out, i doubt many people are going to be wanting to be in the situation they find themselves in. most americans have no idea what it is to make a decision that will end a life, let alone clawed their way through the mud with drones shoving hell-fires up their asses.
the second america quits being america the whole world comes to a halt financially. that will turn the entire world into Somalia. america is already unstable as hell. just imagine it without prescriptions, food, power, fresh water, walmart! its cant happen. if it did the entire world would follow suite.
there is no mountain top fortress or underground bunker that could hold/hide all the "rich" people who wouldn't want to be a part of it, why are they going to let it happen? the movers and shakers on this big ole fuzzy rock we live on actually ENJOY their lives day to day. they dont wake up in debt and behind the 8ball every morning. why are they going to let it change at all?
even if the entire might of the military stood up and tried to take over they wouldnt stand a chance against whoever it is that runs this show. you can bet their are contingencies in place.
our best option is to sway the populace and make logic more mainstream. these crazy politicians wouldnt be able to pull these stunts if they didnt have the backing of people. large groups of religious and racist people that WANT to go to war on a drug or brown people. those type of people need to be phased out. give it time, they are going. loigic will hopefully win in the end. either way whats it all really matter. Government isn't at fault for the problems we're having. Our nation is filled with shitty citizens and that is why government is shitty.
How many people simply vote party line no matter what? How many watch zero news let alone enough to be educated about the people that represent them? How many people refuse to discuss politics? How many people refuse to cast a vote let alone an educated one? My district had a whopping 31k people come out to vote for their state representative, that's half the people of voting age. Our last presidential election was decided by only 58% of the people.
Again, government is shit because the citizens are shitty citizens. The only way to fix is it by paying attention and knowledgeably participating in government, local and up. So yea, we're f'd.
