the poor either get medicaid or tax subsidies to lower the cost of their health insurance.

i fail to see how subsidies to make health care cost less hurt rather than help anyone.

While guidelines are changing, My sister who has had cancer will go from paying $800 a month for healthcare with an amazing doctor, incredible hospitals and specialists, to paying $4000 with lackluster doctors because the excellent doctors are not accepting Obamacare which She is being forced to use unless She decide to pay the not accepting Obamacare tax. I wish I had the same type of faith as you in our government, but being she is someone who has spent the last ten years heavily involved in politics, We do not share that faith in our current elected officials. This is not about life. If it was, We would be able to keep the good insurance, the outstanding doctors. Her life, her healthcare options were much better before Obamacare. I wish I was living in South Carolina where Obamacare has not and will not be implemented. Talk to any cancer patient or cancer survivor, or a parent of a child with severe medical conditions. Obamacare will be the end of our good healthcare. I am not posting this to try to argue with you, but to educate people on what is truly going on with Obamacare. The truths are not being talked about by the media, by the government or by Hollywood, who is promoting Obamacare like crazy. The real truths are very scary. If you do not have major health issues, you will probably be ok. Those of us that do or have, Obamacare is a horrible, horrible plan that is messing with our health and our lives.



Here is the problem for my family, those of us with a history of cancer or a history if head injuries have very limited choices. Our "regular" insurance companies will no longer be covering the hundreds of thousands of dollars in testing, mri's, drugs and surgeries the way they were prior to Obamacare in California. We will not be able to get the same good healthcare we had. Our Obamacare tax is also not even close to $70 per year. In fact if I average out what my family will be charged, it it probably more than that weekly. Now with Obamacare, We do not get the great specialists that she have been able to use, nor does she get the great doctors she has used to and who know her health history inside and out. She does have to pay $4000 per month and also will have to pay much higher co pays, deductibles and prescription costs than she is used to paying. She is a single mom with four children. She can not afford this at all. What I am trying to tell you all is that Obamacare is not what it is being touted to be. It is not affordable for pre existing conditions, it is not the insurance that Obama and the media keep telling everyone it is. I hope that none of you ever go through any of what we have been through over the last seven years. If you do, be prepared to pay massive healthcare costs just to be able to stay alive to raise your children.

I think healthcare should be obtained the old fashioned way, by having a job. I've never been uninsured so I know it's possible to have a government free health plan. You know, if you don't mind having a job that is.
