Good News!

I also live in the middle of nowhere PA, so I am sure that has a great deal to do with the pricing.
Location is the biggest factor in pricing. Been shopping for a house myself. Here's good news: interest rates are dropping again! Here's a suggestion that saved me from a financial nightmare: check the taxes and prior owners utility bills before you buy. A house I almost bought had a $800/month electric bill.

Bonded with the boss-daughter over a hookah at a hookah bar/smokeshop today. Got shot down on the weed tip, but I got to hang with a cool mija and chill. Oh, and 2 beers just gave me a buzz after yard work.

I live in Florida. No real winter. Summers are hot and humid as shit, tho.
i'm not a fan of the winter, don't get me wrong, but i also don't do too well in the heat, especially when it's so humid it feels like you're constantly sucking through a straw to breath.. :(

forgot to say red, it's been nice seeing you outside of the politics section lately.. :D
It's much nicer outside the cesspool, I agree. I had to tear down my growing equipment before they came in and replaced the HVAC. Then I caught the workmen smoking pot oil or whatever you call it on my back porch! First time I ever smoked it. Didn't get me as high as the stuff I grow. Not saying it was bad, just not a good as I thought it would be. Anyway, I got a free buzz (it cost the landlord $8000) and have a contact should I need someone to install a mini-split or wiring in the house I'm trying to buy.

The first summer I lived here, the heat and humidity about killed me. I got sunstroke on Daytona Beach and ended up in the hospital. Doesn't really bother me anymore. I guess you can get used to anything.

true, i don't have asthma per say, but i smoke cigs, and cannabis, and have problems breathing, and i've found that it gets worse when it the humidity is up..

I get hay fever a week or two in the spring that I never had when I lived up north. But I don't have to shovel my car out of the snow anymore, either.

sure, rub it in..
actually, the past two years we haven't really had any significant snow at all, which is kind of crazy as not too far north, they got pounded by sandy.. i haven't had to shovel anything for two years now..
i got a bad feeling about this winter though.. 3 winters ago was probably one of the worst winters i can remember in a long time..

sounds like someone had a nice grow. Previous bills like that would be perfect to set up a new grow too.
I doubt it. He's a cop. Possible, tho. I talked to him and he blamed the A/C. I'm not sure I'd call $1,200 t0 $1,400 a month "the perfect set up".

I call bullshit on the ac being the culprit. No way. More like an old appliance stuck on or something. I had a friend who had his electric bill go up like 500 in one month. It ended up being an old washing machine that was plugged in had the timer stuck and was drawing juice like mad.

and I meant the previous bill would be good to disguise a grow for new owners.

edit: a baseboard heater stuck on is a likely culprit as well. I've also seen this before.
