[/QUOTE]It sounds to me like you haven't done your homework and will not pass the class.
Please know what you're doing before you even germinate that first seed or you will never be successful QUOTE=ii dP ii;9832484]I've probably spent near 1000$ so far between lights, nutes, seeds, soil, fans, meters, etc, etc, etc......
and I'm growing 2 plants.... and not all that well I might add.
just saying, 2,500 isn't going to get 6lbs per harvest. but it is a hell of a start. I'd get the basics. 1kw HPS (or LED equivalent) light flowering and maybe 600w for veg. plus all the fans, nutes, filters, soil, pots, etc to go with that.
that will probably get you 6 good sized plants. theres probably somewhere around 1lb on your first try if you do well.
rinse and repeat until you're a bomb ass grower and then you'll know what you need to get to 6lbs.
But what kind of experience and knowledge does your friend have?Friend of mine spent 10k and he pumps out 3.5 bows every 2 weeks, he does aero, and he also has 2 seperate rooms. I am pretty sure he has 5 flower setups in his flower room and each site has 18 plants on it. So there you go.

Agreed, if you haven't spent countless hours researching readily available information, you don't deserve hand-holding and you're not doing him any favours. I'd grown for years outdoor but going indoor I spent hundreds of hours lurking/reading before spending a penny. It's a whole different ball of wax if you will. Of course my outdoor experience/love for the grow helped but I'm getting to the end of my second grow, with years of growing experience and just finally getting close to nailing down a lot of the gotcha's. For the record I help PLENTY of people on this site.
But I have stipulations, in the fact that they have to show that they understand training techniques, environmental control, nutrient regimes, and above all not limit their research to MJ growing.
Most of the posters in this thread I've helped.
Before bashing long serving members (which I see you're notorious for) at least see the irony in posts like this.
Newbie wants to harvest loads of green for as little work as possible. Come on!!!

You do not need 30 lights to yield 6lb or even 6kg not sure why you think thatwhat you need my friend for your goal . is another 7 grand of lights. it takes a lot of lights to make a lot of yield. I would use . 30 thirty 600 watt hps. and 4 large plants per light. you will reach that goal then . good luck with that unrealistic goal with 2500 bucks. its just enough to cover the electric bill a month for people that produce that every harvest . 2500 dollars . lol 450 dollars for a co2 controller , 450 dollars co2 generator . 350 dehumidifier. 1700 ac unit. your about 3 grand so far. still no lights . or soil pots .
