Right now, I'm using a 3 part hydro base nutes, and periodically calmag. I'm switching though to either organic Iguana juice bloom, or pH perfect Sensi bloom. I want to go organic, but I haven't decided yet.Subbed. What nutes are you using?
Don't need a veg area, and don't need to keep swapping lights from 18/6 to 12/12... you're always in flower, and going straight to flower means that you're harvesting sooner (eliminating a vegetative period), also, you can pack in many more plants into flower.what are the benefits of 12/12 from seed?
That is exactly what my lowball expectation is, 2 zips per every three weeks.so with this setup you plan to harvest every 3 weeks? that sounds like a reasonable amount of time, I mean even if you only pull 2 zips from the 8 small plants that should be more than enough to get you to the next harvest. shit if you don't smoke a whole lot you could make a steady income from that schedule. not that you should or would, just sayin.
I like it.
My new R&D project that incorporates the Hempy Bucket baseline, if it becomes viable, will now be named "Humpy" on behalf of Hempy, and this threadHumpy buckets!! LOL
I got my 4 cubic foot bag of hydroton for just under $20. I went in to my local grow shop three times to buy perlite, and they kept being unable to get it in, so the last time I went, they gave me a 6 cubic foot bag of perlite (damn thing barely fit in the car!) for free, and my hydroton half-off because of the inconvenience they feel they caused me Feels like I have enough between the two bags to grow a few hundred plantsSpek,
i was planning to be doing humpy with perlite... But you are right about being able to reuse the hydroton balls. That is really appealing. I'm going to have to think about that a bit. Thanks mate!
Well, just before I got them I had drying a couple ounces of few pre-perpetual plants I had running, and I just measured out an ounce per Mason jar (easier for cooking just to grab a couple half-pint jars with an ounce each pre-measured), and just dropped it right in at the side of the jar. The product is in direct contact with the pak, and I've seen no ill effects.Hey spek
How do you rock the boveda packs, you tape them under the lid or can it be in contact with the herb directly and place in bottom of jar, or middle of jar.
I only hear great things about them.
