how long can i keep a mother plant in veg before its no good to take clones from anymore?? just curious dont really like cloning.. i prefer vegging for 6weeks then flipping to flowering.. Right now got 5 in flowering and 6 in veg should go ok... im hoping to have perpetual harvest of like every 1-2months... my plan is basically from now on just wait to harvest my current 5 flowering and everytime one is done move a veg into the flowering room.. my veg time my go a little long for this veg room because of the flower room being full.. do u think this will cause a problem?? Im guessing my veg are a month old and my flowering plants are about day 12-14 into flowering

Hey bud...

Well, essentially, a mother plant is simply a vegging plant that never goes to flowering, so you can clone from it forever. I know a couple guys (at least one on these forums) who has been cloning from a mother for over two years.

This current run I'm doing, I won't keep mother plants... I'm just going to snip off of the vegging plants when it's time before they go into flower, and repeat the cycle.

How long you veg typically is limited by the height of your flower room. A vegged plant will stretch 2-3 times the height in the first 21 days of flower.

Also, cloning is made very, very simple with an aerocloner like I have ;)

Sure will! I'll leave it in another tab until later today. I'm on my way out to pick up some supplies for a new hydroponic setup I'm building :)

Finally found time to read through! Nice one spek, I'm right on board with the perpetual Hempy plan.
Not getting started for a couple of months so plenty of time to modify my plans as I learn from others.
