Being a vegetarian doesn't stop anyone from cooking non-vegetarian.

If you work at The Outback Steakhouse, then no, you shouldn't be the chef, sorry.

You want to be a chef, but only for a small percentage of the population that actually cares about the type of food you're interested in? Vegetarian/Vegan. Everyone I've ever known that was vegetarian cared about their food, learned how to cook it, and wanted to open a restaurant to "spread the word" to others about how awesome their food was. Yet, nobody else wanted it. And I lived in Boulder, Colorado. The midwest bastion of liberalism. I've seen many vegan restaurants close shop when they couldn't make enough money here. One of them closed and a Ted's Montana Grill opened up in the same spot, and it's doing well. It's quite ironic.

Yeah, I'm trying to crush your hopes and dreams. On purpose. Cruelly. Without remorse. You have an uphill battle, perhaps unwinable. I applaud your tenacity, however, you are fighting against millions of years of human evolution.

I want to make a place safe to bring my daughters to. What are the goals here? Are we the only survivors earthwide? What?

Been there, got that, know that...I'm an old guy with lots of skills...but why? Is the goal to repopulate? Let's define this....if we're good we could make a cool internet game. Otherwise, this is just....pick a few people you'd like to hang with for awhile...then why limit it to 7? There are actually many folks here I'd spend a few hours with
