Nice setup man! You're better off with a very early transplant in those pots so you can get the taproot sunk in. Its important to start or transplant into those airpots early for the ideology of the pots to function properly.

Thanks I love the new set up i got. Shit runs so much cooler than it used to.

And i usually go straight into the airpots but the last few times i tried that it fucked up my plants. Idk how or what i did but i had a nice couple seeds that just refused to grow when i started them in there. So i figured id take a break from them and try the classic solo cups..... Last time i do that hahaha. I used to do rapid rooters but if youve got a sturdy ass shell to your seed they can sometimes kill em accidently because that little hole will be too skinny to let the seed crack so they dont get light and die.

I really hate runnin seeds. I love clones. I usually only run a couple seeds and pick my keeper and run that for about a year, but for the DOG im tryin to have this be the end all keeper that stays with me til death. hahaha

Hell yeah i feel like thatll be the main deciding factor besides yield. What kinda high it give me. I love my straight laid out sativa trippy highs but like my laid back chill indica highs too.

Ill be good with any though as long as they can produce well. RAS has thrown up some pictures on the DOG OFF and DGTs grow of the KILLA pheno and i can only hope to get somethin like that. He said it took the full 9-10 weeks but he got 5 zips per plant and it was the hardest, strongest, best tastin one he had ever had. Even had some nice purple color in it. Thats what im lookin for. Some "feels like 8th grade smokin kush for the first time" weed. Ive built up a tolerance over the years like most of us and its tough to find stuff that really gets ya goin.

So here they are 11 days in the veg tent under the Bud Boss 305w

dogwide.jpg

I have some crazy lookin seedlings here

2/5 have thin sativa lookin leaves and look mostly normal with no major oddities.
dogvegin2.jpgdogvegin4.jpg

3/5 have really fat, weird, and mutated leaves
dogvegin1.jpgdogvegin3.jpgdogvegin5.jpg
Loves me a mutant!!!

The first one has some weird leaf growth and really fat fat indica leaves.
The second has leaves that are almost as fat as they are long.
The last has some really fat leaves too but less mutated than the other 2

Ive been messin around with my RAW pictures tryin to cut through the heavy magenta color and i kinda got it. Still gotta work on a green filter for the camera for videos because i cant tweak them as hard.

Thanks, let me know if you see any similar traits when they start growing up. Im mostly worried about stretch when i flip em cause ive heard there are some leggy phenos and some short ass ones too and with leds i wanna keep the most even canopy.

I grew 3 S1s one hermied and was dumped.
one was a slight stretcher and doubled, and one was a super stretcher and almost tripled..this was outdoor.
Both were topped multiple time during indoor veg prior to going out to veg more and flower.
They were confused with the crazy summer and tried to flower a few times before actually flowering, each time with some stretch.
I dont know how they would have turned out with a normal consistent flowering schedule.
I do have clones (not sure which pheno) that are flowering indoors.
It is def the strongest stuff I have grown though.
I didnt end up with large buds, but with MILLIONS of popcorn buds as all the tops had like 20 off shoots from the crazy outdoor season, and my lack of attention to prune em back.

Nice i got 5 of the S1s goin. Hopin for not too bad of a herm outbreak but im fine with a few seeds. It should still be killa with a few fem seeds in it. And ill have some backups which im always a fan of stockin up.

Still figurin out he training situation. Want to top em but i like seeing em grow naturally for the first time.

I flowered my 2 remaining ones outdoor for a long time.
I havent found a single seed yet, I actually would like a few

Yeah im probably gonna try to pick most pollen sacks but if i miss a few it never hurts to have seeds.

Then later do some S1s of my favorite pheno with some CS or other silver product.

Im debating if its worth it/possible to make a stable line with strictly feminized pollen.

From what i understand, you have your recurrent parent that always gets hit with the pollen. So if i hit the keeper mom clone with its own pollen, grow out those kids, find the best pheno thats similar to the mother, CS that one and hit the recurrent parent with the pollen from it. Then repeat for max stability. From what ive read. haha.

But im not sure if it would work the same because of how S1s work being from the same plant and what not haha. I think once i pollinate with the offspring of it it should bring some stability and the more i do it should increase it but who knows. haha. Gonna have to ask some of the more experienced breeders. Probably the guys from BB haha

sounds like on;y 2 main phenos to begin with so that should help as well I think.

I know nothing about breeding, but sounds like you have a goods start.

Yeah ill have to ask stew or just do some more reading. It should work the same since im using pollen from a different plant that is a daughter of the recurrent parent so its not just BXing or selfing. Hopefully i dont work up any hermie traits haha.

No video for a few days. Just checked today but my camera was being used for a video shoot.

Chopped the rest of the HOG so in a few days i will be officially all LED. Im in the process of cleaning the flower tent, re rigging the carbon filter and ducting.

Gotta grab a speed controller because i dont have to run the carbon filter as hard, then ill be settin up my 2x 305w LED panels and doin temp checks. Gotta pick up a few more thermometers cause mine are gettin pretty old.

Im going to see if i can run it all with just one intake fan pullin cool air in from outside. Im almost afraid ill have to put it on a timer. Ive been meaning to get one of those thermostat controlled outlet cord things but havent gotten around to it. Now would be a good time though.

Ill do a walk through and post more pictures later this week

Gave them a dose of dyna gro grow solution cause the first serrated leaves started to turn yellow.

They are a little over 2 weeks old and i should have started nutes a few days ago.

My thermometers have seen better days as wll.
One of em I have to bang it around and/or take batts in-n-out a few times to get all the readouts going at once lol.
The other one has the top of the led not lighting up so 7 and 1 look the same, same with 4 and 9 if you know what I mean.

hahaha i had a microwave that did that. reminded me of the predators arm controller.

Mine are just trashed and have gotten wet and probably off by a few degrees and the probes fucked. Its just time to upgrade to a better "garden" one thats waterproof and slightly more accurate.

Then patch a few holes in the tent form previously necessary ducts/fans

I really need a pair of those method sevens led glasses. These things kill my sight. Might have to grab the welders glasses.

Dude, you gotta order that shit. You don't want to be the guy who learned the hard way these lights cause permanent blindness or something. Not worth it... you gotta live with those eyes the rest of your life bro. When you are 75 and can't see shit, you won't be laughing about how when you were 30 you didn't get around to ordering some eye protection.

If you can't tell, I'm a new parent, lololol. It's past your bedtime too. hahaha. :)

hahahaha i feel it. Ive been meanin too but moneys always tight at the end of the month plus the holidays.

Maybe Santa will bring me some for chtistmas!!! haha

What level of darkness are your glasses?? Im pretty sure i just gotta block the bad uv/ir wavelengths mostly and i want them to tone down the light but id like to shoot through them as well so i dont want them too dark. i think the #5 or #3 should work fine. I think it said theyre good for welding except arc welding.

I def wanna keep my eyes healthy and i think it could have some adverse effects on my camera after time.
