Ok cool it was between 3 and 5. Are they any specific color or just tinted black? Cause im hopin the green ones will help cancel out some colors so i can see the real green of the plants so i dont have to go out into the hallway with each plant to make sure its ok haha. Im not a fan of method seven for over charging but i might just have to break down and get a pair after i get a temp pair of welding ones to hold me over.
They have a lens filter for LEDs too that ive wanted to get but i dont see it up on their site and it vignettes like a bitch at the wider end.

For real! ive only ever tripped a few times while checking my plants. I dont like to mix business and pleasure hahaha.
But it was nice, and im definitely gonna have to stop by and check em out sometime soon when im trippin.

Never seen something like that. I used to go to raves and do ecstasy, people would do shit with glow sticks and little led rings, led's on strings stuff like that. It was all fun and games till they got too close and smacked your nose lol. I would have loved to watch one of those things. I probably would have spent an hour or so.

Theyre a good time. You can watch them sober, ok not sober, but not on hallucinogens, and watch it for hours. Its even cooler when youre bakin out a rom cause then you see the streaks of laser going to the wall. Its soooo smooth in real life. That persons shutter speed was too high haha.
You can also upload custom videos and load premade ones by other space explorers haha.
Ive never been an x and raving kinda guy. Im more of the lsd/shrooms and stay in a room/basement with a few friends and watch/play crazy shit like geometry wars. Weve set some high ass scores while trippin. Jurassic park is another good one to watch. Theres this big ass campground/park/concert center not too far away that always has trippy bands play and tons of drugs goin around but im just not one for that kinda scene i guess. Being anywhere im not used to while trippin throws me off a little.

I find tripping in strange places an adventure. I loved acid a lot as a teenager. I didn't like it at a house though... more out and about for me. Either nature or just out walking around. Last time was holloween... that was fun. (not this year 2001 or something) One time we went to see mortal kombat in the theatre on acid. Fucking reptile guy who was see through was soooooo trippy.
Can you set those led things to go to music. I used to love watching the geiss plugin for winamp when I was coming down.

Yeah i think the one my friend has has a mic on it so it can strobe to the beat of the music. haha

The real trippy part is the background. Its stars but some are in fixed positions and others move in 3d when you move left or right.
There have been times where so much shit is going on that i cant even see my fighter guy and somehow i end up killin everything and winning.
All of us are shitty when were sober though. hahaha

got the first dose of dyna gro the other day
i think theyre slightly stunted from being transplanted so soon but i had to
backed the light off a bit because one was growing almost too tight and the branches were interfering with each other
gonna be toppin in a few days when i make the next video

Its about the coldest shit out there. haha only thing more cold than this is coco or rock wool.
Its promix, well this time proterra which is basically the same formula as promix hp just about 10 bucks cheaper.
Its got no real nutes in it, just some lime and little things to help with ph since most people mainly top feed with this type of medium.
Im glad theyre done being scraggly mutants and not theyre gonna be big ass mutants. cant wait to top em!

man i don't know what to say if the soil has no starter nutes in i'm at a loss as to why they'd have compacted nodage?!

yeah im not sure. Id doesnt even have a npk rating on it thats how cool it is but they always last the first 2 weeks and the second you pass that they start showin def immediately. The very first serrated leaves already died off cause of N def but thats cause i was late to give nutes.
Ive wanted to switch over to super soil but just dont have the room indoors this winter so maybe next spring/summer i can mix some up for a test run. Also when using something like dyna grow it helps to not have any starter nutes cause dyna is pretty strong as it is.
And thanks aim! Gonna be toppin any day just gotta get around to doin it. Just waitin till there a solid 3-5 nodes i think im at 3 last i checked. I wanted to use the tops as clones but the nodes are too tight that ill only have 1/2" of stem on my top once i chop it off haha.

Same its been on point for as long as i can remember and i never get wood chunks in it ever. Quality control is top notch. Proterra is pretty good but its got some random sticks and stems in it but it was about 15 bucks cheaper than normal promix and all that they had at the store and i couldnt wait another day.

Sorry its been a while since pictures but the holidays got me busy and my camera was being used for some video projects but i grabbed a few pictures with a point and shoot.
First off i have 2 that are really mutated. The other 3 are normal and growing like regular plants from seed.
So the first of the mutants was DOG #2
It self-topped itself.... Never seen this before and ive seen my fair bit of mutants.
This is the second mutant DOG #4 and shes already growing internodal haha.
Never seen this before but my HOGs side branches grew with parallel nodes which was cool for clones cause they were already topped haha.
Heres all of the DOGs under the LEDs
the middle one DOG #3 showed what looks like cal or mag def so i added a little cal/mag to the mix.
No signs of anything but lush green leaves from the rest of them.
I threw a thermometer in there and it hit 77 and didnt really fluctuate.
This is also without any intake fans pulling cold air in from outside. When i flipped that on it dropped to 70 which is almost too low for my liking.
Still gotta get one of those outlet thermostats.
Finally got to clean out and set up the flower tent with 2x bud boss 305w panels. These things look perfect. No more bright dot in the middle of the room and diminishing light as you get to the edges. It looks so even on the bottom and it is. Theres only about 4-6 inches on either side of the tent and about 3-4 inches between the 2 panels.
I cannot wait until i have the DOGs in here flowering!!!!
Gonna top em in a few days because they just werent ready today.
Gonna leave the 2 mutants alone since the one self-topped and the other is growing internodal.

Ain't it a trip dealing with cold temps instead of hot. My whole time growing has been a fight to keep the temps down. Now they are a little low for my taste. It's cool. (get it, cool.... )

Thanks man! haha ive been talkin about how "cool" these things are in every way. Except in brightness. They are so damn bright.
When i turned on the 2 in that 4x4 i damn near went blind. Got some of those welding glasses on the way.
Theyre more like safety glasses and theyre tinted green so hopefully itll help with the color a little bit like he method sevens.
I hope lumigrow comes out with a pair of LED glasses soon for the low.
I cant wait til summer. I dont grow in the basement anymore cause of plumbing problems so ever since we moved upstairs its been twice as hard to cool down. But now i can only imagine how little we'll have to run the AC and carbon filter.
Next step is CO2 enrichment. Not tryin to go for the full 1500ppm cause i dont need that nor want to pay for that much co2.
im thinkin one of the 20lb tanks should work fine. Just gotta save up for a regulator and monitor.
