Ahh ok well that's good news I'll be looking forward to seeing how your trainwreck does cause I'm definitely growing that next! Had it in the 'dam and it to this day it remains my favourite ever smoke.
I always do that with the seeds, I'm so fucking impatient. It's probably my meddling that killed one of the Jock seedlings and the PA one.

With the PA and supercheese are they autos or 12/12 from seed? Or if neither how long did you veg for?

I must of only vegged for under 3 weeks they were going to be my next main plants but I thought I was getting a new job so I just put them in with the others early ......I haven't timed there progress atoll because of that

Your plants are looking really good, getting nice and frosty.....
Top max is what I have to fill them out, my mate uses bud blood he swears bye it, but as yet I am just sticking to what I use just now

Hi guys,

Havent been any updates in a while cause I'm battling a case of bud rot. This was due in part to the temperature fluctuations (going down as low as seven degrees C at night) and part to the humidity (hovering between 45% and FUCKING 96%! Of course I have bud rot).

Anyway I hope I've nipped the problem in the bud lol. I had to take disinfected scissors to the girls and get rid of the affected material, which was a devastating experience that I don't wish on anyone growing less than 10 plants. I've lost a few grams but hopefully saved the crop. I can't afford a dehumidifier so I've put a load of charcoal (a natural desiccant) in the tent and a small convection heater which helps with excess moisture and when I've got it dialed in right will hopefully stop the temps dropping too low at night. The thermostat on it is a piece of shit though and can't figure out that 40 degrees is too fucking hot for anyone, let alone delicate little flowers.

Outside of my little crisis the plants are now nearing week 5 of bloom phase and the buds are fattening up nicely. Lots of frosting around them and one or two hairs on the top of the larger ones are starting to turn orange. Pics will follow as soon as I've fixed my problems. If anyone has suggestions on how to maintain good temp and humidity on the cheap it would be greatly appreciated!

PICTURE UPDATE! Filenames should tell you which plant is which. I named them after old ladies because they're old, frosty and smell dank but strangely comforting.



So they're just over five weeks into flower now and as you can see the buds are really frosting up. They've also suddenly started to smell; a lovely pungent fruity aroma that's somewhere between skunk and NL.

Temperature and humidity are now under control and all signs of bud rot have receded thanks to an awesome post I found from another forum... I'll link it as soon as I can find it again.

Min/Max temps: 14.4/27.9 Celsius
Min/Max humidity: 36/62 %

Just a little snap of the grow room in its current state. If anyone wants to try and guess the final dry weight I'll post a freebie to the winner! I'll give you a few little clues: According to the seedbank they should finish in about 2 - 3 weeks, which will be 9-10 weeks from 12/12. There are 3 dominant colas, the largest of which is currently about 6" tall with a 2" diameter. Apart from those there are another ~40 roughly equal sized tops. Grown in 18L's, 600wHPS.

Guesses have to come with an interesting MJ fact or growing tip! I don't expect anyone to get even close with the pictures and information available so the closer the winning guess is the better the freebie.

Ha! I think that's extremely optimistic but your guess has been noted. I doubt I'll be getting close to the 1gpw on my first grow
