I'm not sure about rock dust in coco. I'm sure it would be fine. I know of people topdressing in coco too. You can do nutrient teas with kelp meal and what ever else. I would use crab meal and a neem meal too. i do rols soil. I topdress everything. In veg I do nutrient teas with kelp meal and alfalfa meal. every 10-14 days.

A few people in these threads mess with coco and organics

We have not been paying attention to the apes...those are beautiful!!!

Jilly are going to be massive yielders. And very pretty too. I see some nice colors coming out in them.

Thank you, sir! The Grape Apes are very pretty and are apparently fast finishers. The JB are lagging behind but fatter buds for sure.

So I just realized the recommended flowering time for Grape Ape is 7-8 weeks. We are at the end of week 7 and they are looking just about ripe from top to bottom. I'll probably give them a few more days of feed and then start to flush for a few more. I think it's looking like a Christmas Harvest.

Day 53 of 12/12

Closing in on harvest time. The Grape Ape will be down sometime this week. I will let the Jillybean go another week longer, probably ready around end of week 9. Super happy with this round. Starting to plan what strains I will run next. I'll be posting some possible choices and would appreciate suggestions or recommendations.

Day 58 of 12/12

Super duper happy with how this round turned out. The quality of these strains is outstanding. Beautiful flowers with sexy colors and orgasmic aromas. Chopping down the Grape Ape tonight or tomorrow. Been giving them straight water for the past few days for a nice little flush. The Jillybean got their last feed with ferts yesterday and will start flushing those and probably chop later next week sometime. I don't know though, I might end up giving them one or two more fert feeds.

Greengenes - how many days did you let your Jilly go?

WOW. The best run yet brother. Every bud is cover shot worthy. Really impressive work as always.

I was shooting for 9weeks when I started. I ended up chopping on day 61 I believe. They were ready, on the beginning side of the harvest window.

Day 63. Quick update.

The grape ape came down on day 60 and are up hanging to dry. Estimating 4 oz from these 3. Not the big yielders in the tent but holy cow they are some beauties. I'll get some pics up after they get trimmed.

The jillybean are coming down this weekend.

Grape Ape Dried and Trimmed Update

This is literally the only picture I took that turned out. The rest were too dark or blurry. I'll get some better ones up later this week.

These lovely nuggets are from the first Grape Ape plant. The buds are a beautiful mix of frost, purple, green, and orange. The smell and taste are to die for as is, so I can't wait to get some of this cured and into my pipe. The buds are all nice and solid. It was about 1.5 ounces all dried and trimmed. Haven't weighed up the other two yet. It's a pain when all you have is a tiny pocket scale. But visually, the other two look damn near identical to the first one so I'm estimating the same for both of them. They actually turned out to be pretty decent yielders. Overall I give this strain an A+ in my book and one I would love to grow again.

More Grape Ape. Just a small sample. Was able to get some nice close ups in a different room. Prepping for next round. Deciding on strains and what not. Have a couple in mind based on what the clubs are telling me they have...Romulan, Platinum OG, Kryptonite, LA Con, Lavender, Trainwreck, or Cannatonic. Hardest decision I've had to make in a while. Suggestions?
