And, although I think those young men and women out there fighting to keep our forests clear cut for cash is a very noble occupation, somehow, it's not exactly the same as fighting for one's countries liberties.
Not to mention the fact that you left out any/all injuries...
You know I do know lots of ppl who joined the miltarty for financial gain, pensions, benefits, GI bills, sign on bonus's ect. ect.
Don't see anyone fighting to increase Cell Tower worker pay......Farmer's pay; wait is that deserving nobility?
Your whole point is pro athelets deserve less, military more. One is private; one is public.
A pay decrease for athletes might mean cheaper tickets or television packages; t-shirts ect.
A military pay increase means higher taxes....before you suggest higher taxes for me I suggest you donate 100% of your own resources to your cause before trying to convince anyone else of your plight.
