Examples of GOP Leadership

I watched some of Trump's ranting in the Justice Dept. yest.,I put myself in those poor soul's place who had to sit there and listen to this 80 y/o dementia driven version of facts. The guy just can't get over his persecution complex, if roles were reversed his minions would have launched an investigation immediately, not like the cautious M Garland who for love of country proceeded w/kid gloves.

Trump virtually overcame powerball odds in dodging all the charges , a laundry list starting w/ Mueller all the way to obstructing Document -Gate. Yet he can't let it go, has to have it all. I sat listening and said HOW are we here, this guy was stupid enough to be nailed RED HANDED muscling the GA SEC of STATE, a fellow R, and demand to fraudulently create votes to tilt the state of GA. that he lost. RECORDED for ALL to see. HOW does anything he says ever matter again, HOW do people overlook this, THAT phone call was a political death sentence for any voter/supporter w/a shred of common sense. He should've been relegated to Mar-A-Lago holding court to the few desperados willing to listen to his waxing about his "glory days". In the wreckage of Jan6,2021. I'd have bet I'd have better odds of being abducted by a UFO than watching a pumped up 80 y/o Trump pontificating in front of a Justice Dept. he believes to be the King's Court.

History of the Nisei ‘Go For Broke’ WWII unit removed from Army website

View attachment 5456684
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A webpage detailing the history of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team has been removed from the U.S. Army’s official website.

The 442nd, combined with the 100th Infantry Battalion, remains the most decorated combat unit in history for its size and length of service. The World War II unit was made up mostly of second generation Japanese-Americans.

The Army website had the history of the 442nd before President Trump’s executive order ending what he called “radical” diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI initiatives.
WOW,next up Tuskegee Airmen,WHY would you sanitize examples of diverse ethnic groups demonstrating heroic bravery in service to a nation they love. The Nisei displayed this while their ethnic brethren were detained in internment camps, and Tuskegee airmen flew combat missions and came home to restaurants that wouldn't serve them. You'd think these multi-ethnic eg's of bravery and service to country would promote 'E Pluribus Unum and the resultant Karma the US has enjoyed being a groundbreaking sum of many parts multi-ethnic nation. Once again,HOW did all these groups vote for Trump and his "Sig Heil" ,saw the Statue of Lib. off at the knees blatant racist doctrine? What about the Doris Miller, the 3rd Ford Carrier named after a black cook who manned a AA gun at Pearl Harbor,is that on the chopping block too?

Isn't that funny that he's imposed tariffs, and threatened to take over Greenland, and now is asking for help with eggs? He's asked the rest of Europe too. After cozying up to Putin? I know what my answer would be. Something along the lines of, "go fuck yourself!"

French MEP demands the US 'give us back the Statue of Liberty'

FRANCE
A French member of the European parliament has called for the US to return the Statue of Liberty originally gifted by the French people to mark the centennial of American independence because the US no longer represents the values that led France to offer the statue.

Maybe after we pay france back for the American revolution. A Treaty of Alliance between the French and the Continental Army signed in 1778, which led to French money, matériel and troops being sent to the United States Revolution. France's help was a major and decisive contribution towards the United States' eventual victory and independence in the war. However, as a cost of participation in the war, France accumulated over 1 billion livres in debt

The US defense department webpage celebrating an army general who served in the Vietnam war and was awarded the country’s highest military decoration has been removed and the letters “DEI” added to the site’s address.
On Saturday, US army Maj Gen Charles Calvin Rogers’s Medal of Honor webpage led to a “404” error message. The URL was also changed, with the word “medal” changed to “deimedal”.
Rogers, who was awarded the Medal of Honor by then president Richard Nixon in 1970, served in the Vietnam war, where he was wounded three times while leading the defense of a base.

Trump’s MAGA might not admit it, but new study says many could pay dearly for their vote

Many of us have seen the MAGA fallout from the Tesla Chainsaw Massacre — Donald Trump voters with tearful posts on social media, crying that they’ve lost their federal government jobs, or storming Republican congressional town halls to blast their representatives for allowing the president and his henchmen to cut programs and funding that red states rely upon.
Trump even mocked his own supporters on Truth Social, his social media platform.

France made an investment in allying with us. They were at war with Britain at the same time and losing. If they hadn’t, chances are France would be speaking English today or never had the military resources to colonize places like Africa (since you threw out a billion livres, try finding the number Africa made/makes them)

Primary motivation for aiding the US vs Britain:

France, still smarting from its defeat in the Seven Years' War (also known as the French and Indian War in North America), saw the American Revolution as an opportunity to weaken its rival, Great Britain, and potentially regain some of its lost colonies

You should totally give them your slice of America though. Like your house and your car. That’ll teach Trump!
