It’s %100 reliable. Been using it for a couple years it is ETL listed and is 100% reliable.

I use this as a timer, I can turn on/off the lights from an app on my phone. there are 3 outlets and you can create a timer for all 3 outlets. It does connect to WiFi though so not sure if that would be an issue for you. No complaints about this and it has worked every single time...
