you definitely can, but with more white/blue light your plants will become more sturdy and compact. 2700K for whole period works great, but if we are to talk optimal u want 4000K-10000K Veg and 2000K-3000K flower :) Oh and CFL u need to have as close as possible to the tops. 1-2 inches is good :)
