    Good ole GDP

For me This stuff has got great curb appeal and really unique grapefruit like smell. It's pretty body heavy but not so much to knock you out. It helps me to wind down after a rough busy day. It's classy, great looking, and dependable. 8/10 wsa.:joint:

    How long to dry?

I will usually dry for about 5 days (depending). 45-55%@70. This is where it gets tricky because I have noticed different strains can dry differently. I try to aim for stems snapping cleanly but not as snappy as say kindling for a firepit. Then i let them sweat in paper bags for a day and then...

    Trim or not?

what is the flowering period for that particular strain? If you are seeing clouding and ambering i would get ready to cut down. if just clouding, i would cut your lights for a day maybe two, and then harvest. IF they could use more time (10 weeker) thern you can definatly thin it out more. those...

i would flip them after a month of vegging and supercrop them to fit your space. If you can move some around I would move half and let them develop longer.

NOOB, need advice before purchasing equipment.

for now my flowering area is about 5X5 I use two 250 watt hps for flowering because i have about 40 bulbs of that wattage laying around. For the area you have, i would not use HID.... not yet, you can achieve the right spectrum with the cfls they have nowadays. it would also eliminate heat. For...

    Overwatering or Nutelock?

id recommend a different medium such as ammended soil. the soil acts as a buffer between your plants and the nutes. nitric acid, phosphoric acid, citric acid, or vinegar will lower that ph for you.

NOOB, need advice before purchasing equipment.

As a first timer you need to invest in a book. just go to borders or order one. they are extremely helpful, and are great for setting up rooms. In my opinion, id steer away from the hids, as this is your first grow. Go with fluorescents, as they burn much cooler. cheaper to buy, and easier to...

does this look like the work of spidermites?

i cant really tell with the definition of your camera. look on the underside of the leaves and with a magnified glass or jewelers loop you should be able to see for certain if they are spider mites. if so hit it with some neem oil.

    Is this plant done !??!

if you have a flushing solution i.e. florikleen, you can flush less than a week prior to harvest. i would agree with these guys on the time. when those trichomes are standing erect and glands are bulbous ( look like they'll burst) with a milkiness to them, Id cut the lights out for 48 hrs. some...

    Overwatering or Nutelock?

well your ph is way to high. which explains the lockup. it should be between 5.8 and 6.3 i find that ideal. your medium choice requires that you have a well balanced fertilizer.

Start Saving your egg shells. Deer HATE them!

pulverized eggshells and oyster shells add calcium to the soil, but they take time to break down. I've always heard that human urine, and flakes of soap bars ward most away./. Maybe the deer around you have adapted to humans. which sucks. in my veggie garden i use eggshells and bloodmeal as...

    Overwatering or Nutelock?

id flush and start fresh. Its a tough call, but i notice some minor yellowing on the lower leaves which could be nitrogen deficiency. they do appear a bit droopy. what kind of soil are you using. and what is the ph of your your runoff?

    Reverse Osmosis help

I am buying a reverse osmosis filter for the house and the garden. The water is terrible. I have about 300 to spend on it and was wondering if anyone had any input as to the best systems. I was looking at the hydrologic stealth 200. Has anyone used this? It seems legitimate, but will it suffice...
