Cool good to know. I'm wondering if there is less resistance with the thicker wire but then again the runs are short that it wouldn't make a difference. I'm guessing.

I believe the wire i order is rated at 300v and i have 4 COB @52v .. should be ok.

Hit up 1000bulbs.com and find that exact bulb for much less.

I bought an $85 1000W led bank off wish just to see how it does, for veg it wasn’t strong enough and I’ve had to sub in 5 CFL’s and so for around $250 i have enough power now... so it can be done on the cheap. Being it’s my first grown I’d say lesson learned.

Yea I’ve had to super crop and top cause she the only one i didn’t main line, I’m on week nine of veg and I’m taking them out to at least 10 maybe 12 weeks. On her, i could flip the switch now.

Totally newbie question but with topping and super cropping is it normally to get uneven growth like this and did she herm?

I’m on my first grow and started with an inexpensive 1000w led bank and 3 65w CFL 6500k bulbs, however I’ve since added 2 105w CFL at 5000k which from what I’ve found are the largest you can get without going to a mogel lamp base. I ordered them off 1000bulbs.com Hope this helps.

Anyone ever use 105w CFL bulbs? These things are massive..lol. Wanted to know how far off the plants your placing them? Pic of both the 105w and 65w.
