Great post! I've been trying to tell people this for YEARS now! For some reason, the conspiracy theorists do not and will not listen to facts. Most vests won't stop a round from an AR-15/M-4 assault rifle, something MOST cops carry in their patrol cars thanks to the North Hollywood shootout. Even if one wasn't available, most soft vests will only stop 1, maybe 2 rounds..........and it's like being hit in the chest with a sledge hammer...

lol! Do you know how difficult it is to make a head shot? I imagine the foot would be even more difficult. Anybody who had ever had ANY firearms training is trained to aim for "center mass" (the chest/abdomen). This is the best way to stop a violent subject and have the best chance of hitting...
