Overwatering is probably why its so small. I was overwatering two of my young seedlings, you can see them in the pic in the plastic cups. Them two were actually germed at the same time as the others in pots but were overwatered from a young age and were badly stunted (heat stress too).

If it says its a 150w HPS, then you only want to be using a 150w HPS bulb in it. There are 'retro HPS-to-MH' bulbs which are MH that run off HPS ballasts but they cost a bit more and a 150w one will be hard to find (they're usually 400w+). I'd say find a 150w HPS bulb and you're good. Does it...

Thats great what you've done with that one. Trained to bits! I'm not going with topping or cropping as I don't have time for them to get stressed and recover, more likely to go LST. When's a good time to start?

Looking good guys! Here are my two WW girls, at day 8 from sprouting. Thinking of doing some LST on one of them, leaving the other one to compare yields. When do you reckon I should start? Also if anyone could help me out with my vegging time problem. Comments appreciated!:leaf:

Try letting it dry out a bit more between waterings. My young ones grew noticeably faster when I stopped watering as much.. their roots grow out and spread to find water when its getting dry.

That's what I was thinking before but they have really been growing fast these few days with the sunlight and all and I may have to put them in flowering sooner.. I might just go 10 more days or so. Anyone else with any input on this?

Nice plants spliff ;) I've got some of the same seedsman WW growing too, one week old today. Hope they grow as fast as yours did. How tall are they now? I'm limited for space and they've seemed to get huge during flowering.

Due to space constraints I have opted for 4.5L (about 1.2 gallons) pots for my 6 plants under a 250w in my closet. My concerns are that if I veg them for too long they'll get too big for their pots and get rootbound halfway through flowering. So I want to be sure to veg them just long enough...

Looks like done a good job in keeping it growing as short and bushy as possible as they have quite little vertical growth. 3ft is cutting it close though and I think you will be pressed for space nearing the end of flowering..

I had to pull them off for two shitty bagseed I had germinating. One thrived afterwards while the other is stunted to this day.

I stay on the cautious side and don't mess with the bulb. Any grease that gets on it from handling can cause it to explode when its on and hot.

By stranded you mean the 'normal' type you see in most household appliances where if the ends get all messy you twist them up? Sorry about the laymans terms, not much of an electrician.
