fellow aussie here, best of luck with this grow weathers been very unusual in my parts for the past few weeks with temps hitting mid to high 20s everyday its good news for my girls though :D

Maybe another 3 or 4 days until they go under 12/12. :-o LST going well on the 2 plants so far, might tie down some of the others tonight or tomorrow the big skunk today, 4 days from LST start

My 5 widows today (along with some friends of different strain) :weed: The 3 in the smaller pots sprouted a week ago and the two in front in the big pots are 2 weeks old. The rest are skunk and mama mia.

I'm running a 250w lo-bay, very similar to the hps fixture up there except its longer and heavier

Looking nice, how much longer are you planning on vegging for?>

rx only, what you see in post above is my closet (3.5' wide, 5.5' high and 2' deep). If you look in my first post you can see a cardboard box I cut up in various places to help ventilation while being able to have the CFLs clamped onto something. I got rid of the box yesterday as I'd rather have...

First pic is for comparison from 18 hours ago when I first tied her down. Second pic was taken just now. She was getting good direct sunlight for about 5 hours today, I was a bit worried that I started LST too early but she seems okay after a day in the sun.. what do you guys think?

neither, its a fan heater running on just fan. Pushes enough air around to keep temps at around 78-80 with the light 8" away. Got a stronger 6" fan on its way, once that's set up I should be able to get the light even closer "

I know it looks brutal :D but the whole lot are going to be put under 12/12 in a weeks time so I want the lower parts to grow more and get bushier so that I have a more even growth to go under my 250w lamp. Its bent over quite wickedly but this is the point of LST right?? Am I killing it?

They look fine, the new growth and the fan leaves wont have any stem in between until at least about 10 or 11 days in and then they take off. Check out my widows in my grow journal in my sig, they're all between 4 and 17 days old so you can have an idea about sizes at different stages.

Up to you really.. I just trained two of my plants, they were on day 12 and 15. Main reason for me was to keep them short and I want to make the most of my 250w mh.

The pic above yours is from day 12.. hope it gets as bushy as yours :leaf: what light have you got them under?

5 inches is quite a bit of difference.. I'm getting a new fan in sometime this week so I should be able to get the light closer than the 8" it is at now, hopefully that does the trick. Started LST on my one of my widows.. too early maybe? Advice pls!

Started LST on one of the widows, she's 12 days old . As you can see there is a pretty mean bend on that stem.. do you guys think this is too early/too hard on it?

Today was day 16 for the oldest one.. planning on getting some panda film up to make it lightproof and switch to 12/12 in about a weeks time. I'll be flowering with a 250w MH.. anyone know if this will cause a lot of stretching? I have to keep these under 2.5' at harvest.

Nice widows, lookin really good, I like the setup with the veg cab. I might try putting more soil and less perlite for the top layer in the pots too.. drys out super fast because of the fans and they have to stay. Check out my grow in my sig subscribed ;)

Looking good man.. subscribed. You said you'll veg for 3-4 weeks, how much longer do you reckon now? My grow is at about the same stage, I'm probably going another week before puttin them into 12/12.. check it out in my sig :D are you going to be doing any training on them?
