The 1st leaves are just seedling leaves. They always die off, no need to worry about it.

Yeah it can wait, cal mag problems take a few weeks to show up. So you will have a problem before you see it, and it will take a few weeks to clear up. The dead spots wont turn green again, but they should slow and then stop with in 2 weeks. Are you using RO water?

Next year I will be growing the seeds I get from this grow. Variety is great, but what i'm going for is breeding this one strain. In my experience it does really well outdoors here and it will be imprinted with the environment conditions, and should grow better with each year. Its just not easy...

Thanks man! Just one plant this year, but its all prep for next year. Next year I will be expanding the garden, also get a much earlier start, should get 6-8 plants in that space.

Just as a comparison here is a pic from a few years ago on Aug 11th 2012. Looking back over old grows really shows how much I have learned.

Might not be a bad thing, will get some nice color. I would guess your looking more at a late Oct. harvest. Weather will play a factor into that.

Weekly Update. Week 11 Little one is going to get chopped sometime this week. Big Girl is doing great. 3rd week of flowering. Getting a bit of yellowing at the bottom. Some is normal, some is due to under watering. Going to have to start watering every other day. Enjoy!

If you can control yourself, don't cut any buds off your plants until the end. You will end up with 3-4 times as much. Your plants look to be 3-4 weeks into flowering. They have just started. One of the biggest mistakes new growers make is cutting to early. I did it my 1st time growing, and...

covering the root was a good thing to do. There isn't much you can do with a seedling. Just have to wait it out.
