How can root temps of 18 Celcius (64 F) affect grow?

I'm growing in my shop, I put some half inch thick foam rubber puzzle mats down under the tent to isolate the tent from the cold concrete. Drip trays also have many protrusions on the bottom that keep an air space under the tray.

Long veg time. Maybe bad genetics or not autos. Should I flip to 12/12?

Hey RIU, I'm spamming pictures again today. Day 118 from sprout, day 67 of 12/12. Here's a pic of the remnants of plant 3. I left 3-4 larfy buds and some leaves after harvest, it's grown a few more leaves in the last week, still under 12/12, Foxtails, in my opinion, make buds look like shit...

Oh, and 2 oz dried trim and larf. A lot of plant 3 was lower stuff I should have trimmed off two months ago. Oh well, another thing to add to the "things I learned" list.

So partial weight for this grow. Jarred the bud from the two small plants today, a bit over 2.5 oz from plant 2, and just over 1.5 from plant 3, total 4.1oz. so far. The two bigger plants are still going edit: 115.6 grams total

Today is day 116 from seed, day 65 of 12/12. Took some microscope pics of trichomes this morning. Mostly cloudy, a few clear, but really not much amber on the calyxes. CHOP CHOP on Friday or Saturday, I think Pic of plant 4, the largest and a random bud And some microscope pics of trichomes

A few more pics from harvest day. 30 odd branches hung in the drying cab. These were the two smaller plants in 3 gallon fabric pots. The larger plants will go to next weekend, I think. Wouldn't you know it got cold and dry here on the west coast just as I want to dry. Trying to get the humidity...

    Did I get a photoperiod?

My crop king autos had not flowered by 51 days, so I put them in 12/12.It took between 10 and 16 days before all plants had visible signs of flower. You are only five weeks along, I suggest you wait a bit longer before giving up and changing light cycle.

    Canada proud!

After what I've seen on my first grow I believe this. Did not top my plants on this grow, and the buds below the main cola get significantly less light, like 20 klux difference from the top of the main cola - about 25% less light intensity. The lower buds are definitely less dense than the...

    Canada proud!

OK. New rule at my place. No sampling the scissor hash until all the buds have been trimmed. I probably spent an hour playing some puzzle game on my phone with 8 more branches to trim. lol Two plants down, probably another week before the other two are ready.

Long veg time. Maybe bad genetics or not autos. Should I flip to 12/12?

Started the harvest today. First time trimming, I now appreciate how tedious it is, but having fun with it anyway. Didn't take too many pics, but here's a shot of the main cola on the smallest plant. My trimming skills leave much to be desired, but a slightly rough trim doesn't bother me - this...

Thanks for the complements, guys! At the rate that they are putting out pistils again with the foxtailing, dunno when they'll look done. Other tops are looking like they are starting to foxtail. Started tapering ferts two waterings ago. They Do Not Like That At All. Noticeable yellowing this...

Today is day 108 from seed, day 57 of 12/12. We have a bit of cold air here on the island, my water barrels have frozen. Running the heater a bit more, ambient humidity down to 40%, getting down just below 30% in the tent. Here's a bunch of pics - one of each plant, then one of the main cola...

Is this a banana forming? I think she's ready for chop anyway. Pics inside.

Thanks! Well, I don't want energetic, not for most of it! This is my go to sleep supply. Supposed to be a couchlocky strain.

Is this a banana forming? I think she's ready for chop anyway. Pics inside.

First grow. I've been wrestling with myself for a bit to keep from chopping too early. Took a few pics this morning, and I think three of the girls are ready, or at least ready enough. When reviewing my pics, I see this: Is this a banana forming, or just a weird calyx with no trichomes? Then...

Another trich shot from this morning. I really struggled to get a good shot this morning, and didn't really succeed. Danger of trying to concentrate before coffee, I guess.

Happy Groundhog Day RIU Today is day 105 from seed, day 54 of 12/12. I have some noticeable foxtails forming on three plants. Here's some pics of the three main colas that some foxtails. But Mmmmmmm, getting frosty. I have some trich shots from this morning too. God I feel like a giddy...

I took some pics of it the other day, so here you go. Clamped to tripod A shot of the eyepiece I'm using as a macro. It is press fit into the slab of scrap maple. It is secure, took a fair bit of pressure to press it in. detail showing the alignment rails and elastics to keep the phone in...

Long veg time. Maybe bad genetics or not autos. Should I flip to 12/12?

Thanks, dude! I didn't keep explicit records about the stretch, however It seems to me that the stretch lasted about three weeks. These particular plants added about 50% to height (some of my earlier posts detailed the heights). My tent eventually got so crowded that I had to build a separate...
