I agree 85 is not deadly, but its also not optimal either. I found 76-78 to be the best temps. just keep good airflow and make sure ti does not get any hotter. Also like someone else said night time light cycles will help reduce temps.

excess water will, you said its been really wet there..let it dry out. even if you have to cover it up when it rains.

most potting soils have sticks in them as fillers, not really going to hurt anything imo. as far as feeding...I don't care to advise on that..i have not fed mine at all but I did amend with some worm castings ..mine look a little light colored as well but have decided not to feed until I see...

yeah, things were going really fast for a bit but have now slowed down. im expecting the 3 soil plants to show sex any time now and they seem to have slowed on growth a bit. the DWC has stoppd stretching and is starting to put on the bud. couple weeks and they will start looking and smelling...

don't bother me any, happy to have some conversation on here.. in my experience (which isn't much when it comes to hydro) you need to rez change every 2-4 weeks depending on how things are going.. so with that figure you can read your bottle and determine roughly how much nutes to use.
