Yes, it is ghetto looking...looks retarded like that because I cut the boards too short on the ends. This same set up (-20 watts and the added boards) was ran last time for about 3 months and some change for the last grow without any problems. And about a month or so into it's use this time...

Sorry if I was unclear, but it's 246 total watts. I have 143 on one lamp using 3 Y-splitters and 103 on the other using 2 y splitters.

Got a total of 246 watts (7 bulbs) in there right now. I actually have another question for you (or anyone else) about using the CFLs on splitters. If the actual lamp you are using has a max watt rating of 60w, and you have 3 40 watt bulbs and 1 26 watt bulb, is this lowering the effectiveness...

Yea, I do about the same for my watering, 2 inches deep dry and a light pot, that's when I water. I might be able to get a shot of the discoloration of the stems but, it won't be any better than the pictures previously posted, all I have at the moment. I'll have to wait til' the lights come on...

Appreciate the response sim. Well it's not only the yellowing, the stems are turning a reddish-purple type color in some areas (mainly on grow shoots/fan leaves). Growth may be stunted as well. I'm going to give them a few days to dry out, stop using water from the tap, and if problems persist...
