its best to leave the "sugary" leaves on and trim the right before you start the jar cure, to release terpenes into the jar causing it to smell danker.

you can do whatever you want. if you wanna sell/smoke stemmy weed then go ahead. Its good to leave a little leaf on in a less humid area, to help prolong the drying process then just trim the off before you cure, but take all the LARGE leaf off before you hang. There are several different ways...

yes that will work. The amount of times to open the jar(s) per day would depend on how moist the bud still is. Every 12-24 hours should be enough if you have been curing for a bit as implied by your statement of the hay smell slowly disappearing. You should take em outta the jars and lay em out...

im not fdd. And that looks real dank, they are like they have sativa long buds, with the compactness of an indica. Nice mix. I think you could harvest now or wait 10 days. maybe 14. Do you know the plants background?

are the buds larger or just have more red pistils?

im saying that you can get high purity hash from the blender method by letting the trichomes settle to the bottom of the water, then siphoning and screening and repeat for further refinement. its not even my personal preference for hash, high purity is achievable. That is all i was saying
