July 12: Transfer to 4.5gallon pot. I have been slowly introducing my young lady to the sun. A few hrs each day When she was in the small pot. The transplant into the 4.5 gallon is when she left the nest.

June 28: Transfer to small pot with fox farm, perlite, sphagnum moss. Added a second 14w led bulb. So 26w now on my baby.

June 20: True leaves comes out. Blasting it with a 12w full spectrum grow led bulb.

Hi all, So I think I have honed my skills in growing MJ thanks to the guidance and info from you all and this site especially. I've ran into a lot of rookie mistakes my first few rounds, like the ever so common "I over watered!", or "damn I burnt my baby", or "wish I had a bigger light"...

4k spectrum is on the redder side of things. People say this is good for flowering. Get daylight 6500K to veg. This is the general consensus.

I would have done all this but had a late start because I had some seeds that didn't pop. I think i will clone it before it transitions to flower and grow the clones indoor in my cabinet.

I think you guys are right.. i will go home and top tonight.. I think that too much plant energy is being wasted going vertically. I need the bottom branches to grow out more. there should be enough time for the plant to recover, and send the energy to growing it horizontally.

my strain is white cookies. is a cross between white widow and GSC. Most phenotype i have seen online are grown indoors and look bushy. Mine looks tall and lanky right now. I probably super crop later when there are more branches..

So... is the Autumn Equinox when outdoor plants flip to flowering? according to this site: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/september-equinox.html, since i am in s.cali, the date is September 22nd for this year. Which is when there is equal daylight/night.

yeah.. i know the many benefits. But my concern is.... do i have enough time to top with the autumn equinox coming (flowering). It takes about 2 weeks for a topped plant to recover. So i am more inclined to go "a'natural" with this grow.

Hey again. So here's a pic of my outdoor white cookies grow. I just transplanted to a 4.5 Gallon pot. It appears to be stretching quite a bit. It's about 1ft tall now after about 1.5 month from popping the seed. You think i have enough time to top? there's only about 2 months left before...

Less is more especially with fertilizers. Learn my lesson few grows ago when i burned my beautiful baby

I know topping is suppose to produce extra cola branches, and possibly increase the yield. Additionally, people top to control the height. However, outdoor growing there is no height limitations unless you have neighbors or such. Wouldn't the energy of not topping the plant go towards a...
